Spacious 5-bedroom century home and barn on 10-acres in charming Kirtland Ohio!

Discover this 5-bedroom gem in Kirtland that will sleep 9 comfortably and 11 seasonally. This farmhouse boasts 2 king beds, 1 full bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 twin bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests. With 2.5 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers and showers, convenience is key. An additional seasonal Bunk House with 2 twin beds provides extra flexibility. You will enjoy a fire pit, a bonfire overlooking the lake, boat rides, paddle boat, horseshoe, and walks around the property! The barn also features many activities and games; such as, ping pong, corn hole, darts, and much more! Experience what Kirtland has to offer--- Historic Kirtland, The Kirtland Temple, Holden Arboretum, Lake Farm Park and many wonderful restaurants and parks to enjoy! It is our hope that you will be blessed and refreshed at our awesome Merrybrook Farm!

Your Getaway

Your stay will start with the resort like bedding allowing you to be refreshed and relaxed in each of the five bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with accessories and utensils for all of your needs!
Walking out to the comfortable porch with your coffee while overlooking the patio, fire pit, backyard and lake will give you a view that, as some of our guests have described as 'Magical'!

Taking a walk around the lake is always enjoyable, but for the more adventurous--you may want to jump in the paddle boat or row around the island in the rowboat!!

Of course, another option is to simply sit around the bonfire and enjoy the sunsets and activity on the lake.

All of this is meant to allow you to engage with family and friends--to get away from the hustle and bustle. Rest and relax at Merrybook Farm!

But there is more! Don't forget the amazing fire pit on the patio--it really kicks out some serious heat (so read the instructions before lighting it! :)

Oh--The Barn!!! This is where the fun continues!
We have games, corn hole, ping pong and more! It is a fun place to just go and relax and enjoy the old-style architecture--listen to music, read a book or just be together.

And lastly...The Bunk House! Most people think it is just a little shed, but upon opening the door, you will find a cute little country garden cottage with 2 single beds and dressers. A fun adventure awaits as you bunk in this seasonal bedroom space.

This is a one of a kind charming family home, so clean, well stocked kitchen, plenty of bedrooms for everyone with comfortable beds! Excellent communication with the hosts. Enjoyed both fire pits during our stay, grilled and enjoyed dinner on the back patio. My grandsons loved the barn activities and fishing. Did not want to leave!!

The property was very spacious and clean. We truly enjoyed both fire pits and the games that was provided. Patrick & Carla was very accommodating. They pretty much thought of everything. I had family from Texas and Atlanta. This property served us well. Look forward to coming back.

To gather together our children and some grandchildren we were looking for a home with many bedrooms. What we found at Merrybrook was so so much more! The home and property were so welcoming, comfortable, well stocked, exquisitely decorated, and peaceful that we were all sad to leave. Words can’t describe the setting. We could have stayed for a week and not taken advantage of all the activities available in the barn and on the lake. I cannot think of a single thing that could have made our stay better.

We rent from VRBO at least 2-3 times a year, this house had everything and more in it. It is a beautiful property, comfortable and cozy, we loved sitting out back around the fire pit overlooking the pond. Our kids took advantage of the ping pong table, corn hole, horseshoe pit and paddle boat. We want to stay there again!!!

Merrybrook Farm...is....COOL as our Grandson said. And we agree. Just a really good place off the beaten path in a "farmhouse" w every imaginable convenience and technology available. While we are not heavy VRBO users, Patrick's place is and was our best VRBO experience to date. HIGHLY recommend this place for family get togethers and enjoy all this farm has to offer!!

Beautiful farmhouse

This house is gorgeous. Three beautiful sitting rooms. Out door barn for ping pong and games. The back porch has a gas fireplace and then down near the beautiful pond there is a regular wood fire pit stocked with seasoned fire wood. Enjoy this property inside and out.

Simply amazing!

We did not want to leave this beautiful place!! Patrick and Carla have made this home a sanctuary for their guests. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and updated, everything was well marked, the barn had plenty of fun activities to enjoy, the boats to ride around the lake was fun, and so much more. Merrybrook Farm was a perfect place to enjoy time with friends and family! Lots of great seating areas and fire pits and plenty of games and activities in beautiful setting on the pond. The house is very comfortable, tastefully decorated, spacious, and well-equipped. The owners were great to work with, thoughtful, and very responsive. So glad we found this gem. Would highly recommend this listing!!!
