New hot tub and grill in 2024. New King bed in 2025. The Lazy Log Cabin is a beautiful, cozy, wooded retreat in the gated community of Mountain View estates in Whittier, NC. Sit back and relax in the hot tub surrounded by the serenity of nature, or go explore with only a short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, downtown Bryson City, Cherokee and Harrahs' Casino and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Cabin includes 3 Smart TVs, equipped with Netflix and Hulu, and additional streaming services that you can log into for your convenience.

The space
Exterior
The road is paved all the way to the cabin, with easy and abundant parking for any vehicle. A small set of steps take you up to the covered porch leading to the entry. The porch is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and fresh mountain air from the rocking chairs or porch swing. To the left of the steps, a gazebo houses a large relaxing hot tub and a privacy shade. A gas grill also sits under the gazebo, waiting for you to show off your culinary skills rain or shine. Take a seat in a chair around the fire pit located in the side yard behind the gazebo and enjoy the sounds of a crackling fire while your marshmallows roast over the hot flames.

Entry level
The living room has comfortable soft leather sofas surrounding a stone gas fireplace. The open layout serves as a great opportunity to enjoy the surrounding trees and natural light. A Smart TV equipped with Netflix, Hulu, and additional streaming services that you can log into for your convenience sits on the mantle for entertaining indoors. Woodland and wildlife touches are featured throughout the cabin.

The kitchen has black granite countertops, stainless appliances, and beautiful cabinetry, making time spent preparing meals pleasant in this fully equipped space. Enjoy coffee or tea in the morning with the Keurig or drip coffee maker. Pots/pans, baking sheets, knives, cutting board, corkscrew/bottle opener, silverware and various other cooking utensils are provided, as well as plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, wine and champagne glasses. There is seating for 4 at the dining table.

Down a short hall, you will pass a full bath with a tub on your way to the first bedroom. There is a washer and dryer located in the bathroom closet for your convenience. The first bedroom offers a queen-size bed, as well as a set of bunk beds. It contains a Smart TV and large closet, making a great room for the kids or a few friends. Next door is the master suite with a private adjoining full bath with a tub. The master suite has a relaxing king-size bed facing a set of large but private windows, as well as its own gas fireplace. This room has a romantic ambiance and you may find yourself sneaking off just to enjoy time here alone together. A Smart TV sits above the mantle and plenty of storage is available in the closet behind the sliding mirrored doors.

Access Road
The smooth road makes the location Motorcycle and Mini Cooper Friendly. While no mountain road is truly flat or level its whole length, there are no sharp switchbacks and nothing more than a moderate incline.
