Whitefish Lake Mountain Hideaway offers the ultimate year-round Whitefish experience! Located in Elk Highlands, this mountain retreat offers breathtaking views of Whitefish Lake and convenient walk-in/walk-out access to the slopes via a private neighborhood ski run and lift—perfect for effortless winter adventures. In summer, explore nearby hiking trails or take a scenic drive to Glacier National Park, just 33 miles away. With downtown Whitefish only 7 miles from your doorstep, enjoy easy access to local shops, dining, and entertainment in every season.

Built in 2021, this stunning modern retreat provides a spacious open floor plan with four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms to easily accommodate up to 14 guests. The amazing great room includes the living room, kitchen, dining area, and a half bath — all accentuated by the soaring ceilings and plenty of natural light. The living room features comfortable leather furnishings, including recliner sofas, an inviting gas fireplace, and a Smart TV. The large slider door opens to the covered heated patio, where you can enjoy the breathtaking lake and mountain views. The kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a gas stove top and a double-door oven. You'll also enjoy an expansive center island with seating for four. The dining room features a table with seating for up to eight, all with gorgeous lake and mountain views.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, a cozy gas fireplace, a Smart TV, and stunning views. The ensuite bathroom offers dual sinks, a heated towel rack, a soaking tub, and a large separate shower with double shower heads and multiple jets. The second bedroom also has a king-size bed, an electric fireplace, and a Smart TV; the private bathroom offers a shower. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed. There is a fourth bedroom/ game room on the upper level, which has two queen beds with twin trundles, a high-quality queen sleeper sofa, a gas fireplace, and a Smart TV. There is a pocket door at the bottom of the stairs to provide privacy, and the room also boasts a pool table, a game/card table, and a massage chair. The private bathroom offers a shower.

Enjoy the heated, covered deck featuring outdoor dining and a BBQ grill. The backyard patio boasts a hot tub and a gas fire pit with Adirondack seating – the perfect spot to relax after a full day of activities and taking in the AMAZING sunsets. There is a fenced yard, and the entire outdoor space presents stunning lake and mountain views.

This an absolutely gorgeous home!! The views through the pines down to the lake are stunning! Home is just beautiful with fantastic amenities. Very clean and the property is just beautiful. Chipmunks and deer visit all day too! The only disappoint was with property management. The smoke alarm went off twice in one night, waking everyone, with us having to override system ourselves. Notified them, but they had little concern. Never sending anyone out to look at system. The only time we were contacted by them (within 15 minutes of arrival at home) is they wanted us to make sure to put down trash down at curb the next morning. Of course, we had no trash since we had literally just arrived. Would definitely recommend this home for a memorable stay!!

Family Ski Trip 2025

The property was immaculate, high end smart home technology! It had a beautiful view of Whitefish Lake below the cabin. Mule Deer were all over the property and we woke up two mornings with them right outside the bedroom window. Three Golden Eagles frequented the large pine tree about 100 yards down the mountain as well. I would certainly recommend this place and personally we will be back.

Whitefish Family Trip

We had the best time and really enjoyed our stay. I do think it would be a good idea to have basic items such as coffee, shower soap, etc at the house. It's a high end home and the rate is high enough to have these things. Some information on how the thermostats work too would be helpful. The upstairs (where most of the beds are) was extremely hot during the trip.
