Welcome to Hillside Hearth a beautiful home built into the hillside. This three-level home features three bedrooms and three bathrooms with two separate patios, a beautiful stone fireplace, and endless comfort. The home is ideally located between Downtown Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Resort, with close proximity to Ironhorse Golf Club. Explore this home and all the amenities it has to offer.
As you walk into the home, you are greeted with a split-level entrance with stairs leading to the main or lower levels. First, we'll head up to the main level, where there is a living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. The open-concept floor plans make this place inviting and relaxing. The living room's focal point is the floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace surrounded by a cozy sofa to enjoy family time together. Next to the living room is a little reading nook with a chair and lamp. From there, you can access a patio where you can grill outside and enjoy your morning coffee. Back inside, you have the dining room with seating for four people and bar top seating for two people. Head into the kitchen, boasting updated appliances and spacious counters to prepare your meals. Off the kitchen is a shared full bathroom with dual vanities and a standing shower. The bedroom features a queen-size bed, a closet, and endless comfort.
Next, we'll head upstairs where there are two more bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms feature queen-size beds with direct access to the patio. This space is unique in the fact that it is located on the hillside on the upper level of the home. It features lounging chairs and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. One en suite bathroom has a standing shower while the other offers a shower/tub combination. Lastly, we'll head down to the lower level laundry room and garage access.
In the winter, downhill skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort provides 3,000+ skiable acres, 14 lifts with terrain for all skill levels, and stunning views. The resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! There are plenty of other winter activities from snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, and more. Of course, you'll also want to explore downtown Whitefish eateries and galleries, and don't miss Winter Carnival with a parade and skijoring!
In the summer, enjoy all the water sports imaginable at Whitefish Lake, or any of the 100+ lakes & rivers within 100 miles, including Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48! Whitefish Mountain Resort also provides endless activities such as mountain biking, hiking, zip-lining, ropes courses, alpine slides, and scenic chair or gondola rides (with Glacier National Park views). Speaking of Glacier National Park, it's only 45 minutes away from Whitefish! Don't miss the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! You'll also want to take advantage of the Whitefish Trail system with 43 miles of hiking & biking trails, as well as great restaurants, art galleries, breweries, distilleries, a train museum, golf courses, and local events such as Huckleberry Days, farmer's markets, rodeos and Under the Big Sky music festival!
Getting around Whitefish and to Whitefish Mountain Resort is a breeze with the FREE snow bus! The snow bus is a free shuttle service during peak winter and summer seasons. There are stops all around town and on the mountain. Whitefish also has Uber, Lyft, and Taxis.
