In the winter, the Flathead Valley is famous for its world-class skiing and wide range of winter activities. There are two ski resorts in the area, including the local favorite Whitefish Mountain Resort and the family-friendly Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. Visitors to the area can also enjoy ice fishing on Flathead Lake, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in Glacier National Park, and snowmobiling with one of the local outfitters.

In the summer, enjoy all the water sports imaginable at Swan Lake! Glacier National Park is also close by with the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! This home does have 2 mini split AC units. Many homes in Montana don't have AC. Along with the mini units, we also encourage guests to open the windows at night to enjoy cooler evening temperatures and close them during the day (including curtains/blinds) to keep the cool air in. For your safety, please only open windows when you are present in the property. Additionally, most homes will have fans located in the bedroom closets.
