Beachside Cottage is a stylish retreat in the village of Sandsend, just three miles from Whitby. Beautifully designed, this stunning holiday home is perfect for those looking for a family staycation or a getaway with friends. Sleeping up to eight guests, you’ll have full access to the house which includes four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cosy living room, spacious dining room and fully equipped kitchen. What’s more, you'll have sea views and Sandsend beach is just a 2-minute walk away!

The Space:
Enter Beachside Cottage and you’ll be welcomed into the dining room. With a large dining table and seating for up to eight guests, it’s perfect for enjoying meals with your loved ones.

Beachside Cottage has been designed to a high standard with premium furnishings throughout. Evidence of this can be found in the beautiful living room where you’ll find a comfortable corner sofa, an armchair, a window seat and a flat screen Smart TV.

The galley kitchen has been given a modern revamp and is fully equipped with appliances and cookware so you can prepare meals easily during your stay.

There is also a WC located on the ground floor for extra convenience.

Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find two bedrooms and family bathroom. Both bedrooms feature comfortable king size beds, both made up with plush bedding and premium linens.

Spacious and modern, the bathroom includes a bathtub, separate shower, WC and basin.

On the second floor, you’ll find a further two bedrooms, both of which are twins. With sloped ceilings and typical cottage windows, the bedrooms are characterful, tranquil and cosy.

In the second floor bathroom, there is a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Beachside Cottage are accessed via a key safe box and full details will be provided prior to check in.

Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis. Pay & display parking is also available, with the added convenience of being able to use the RingGo app for payment.

The Neighborhood:
The small fishing village of Sandsend sits at the end of almost three miles of sandy beach, west along the bay from Whitby. Perfect for relaxing stays, you can watch the surfers bob in the distance as you stretch your legs along the shores and soak up the sea air as you feel the sand beneath your toes. You’ll have a selection of restaurants, cafes and a local pub for you to enjoy during your stay.

Whitby is a short 10-minute drive from Sandsend where you can explore everything the seaside town has to offer. Visit the infamous Whitby Abbey which went on to inspire Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. Try the local catch of the day in one of the many fish restaurants, enjoy a drink in the cosy pubs and feel nostalgia in the arcades which line Pier Road. You can’t miss the beautiful Blue Flag West Cliff beach which is complete with colourful huts on the promenade.

Getting Around:
You can explore Sandsend on foot with the beach right on your doorstep.

Hop on the X4 bus and you can visit beautiful villages like Runswick Bay, Staithes and also visit the town of Whitby.

Whitby train station is 10-minutes away via car so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

The nearest airport is Teesside International, 41 miles away from Sandsend.
