Great secluded hideaway but not too far! Super clean and great ambiance. The lights on the loft railing provide just the right lighting. Owner is super responsive. Cell coverage for t mobile was good. Hot tub was clean and great for a late night dip with privacy curtains. Although we were joined by a couple of deer one night.We would stay here again.

Unbelievable weekend stay. Between the scenery, the hot tub, and fires we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing experience. My wife and I will definitely be back for a longer stay next time!! A local cat popped by for a visit and was very friendly. We named him Toby for the weekend.

We had an amazing stay, everything exceeded our expectations! This is where I proposed to my fiancĂ© and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. The property was spotless and throughly clean, the hot tub has a canopy and privacy covers which is an amazing touch so we didn’t get sunburned. It was nice and quiet with beautiful lighting and a warm sense of comfort. The property manager was kind and available to answer any questions we had and left a little note for us when we arrived. We will definitely be booking a stay here again. It was a 10/10 experience!

Our get away visit/stay was just perfect! Super clean cabin the has just what someone needs to get away. Enjoyed the jacuzzi every night The host Frank was perfect in supplying all every one needs and the wine was great too! Will be back next time we visit family !

Fabulous little country cabin

This place is a serious little gem. Beautiful, well- maintained property with all of the amenities we needed for a couple of days. Far enough from civilization that you feel isolated in the best way, but not so far that you can't make a quick run to town. Only issue we had was absolutely no cell signal (Mint/T-Mobile). That's not a slight on the property or owners at all, just a heads up for anyone who might worry about that sort of thing.We'll definitely remember this place for the future!

My husband and I enjoyed the most peaceful and relaxing weekend. We had the best time! We will definitely be back and also looking into the crows nest property for a future rental. The cabin was equipped with everything needed. Can’t recommend enough!

A marvelous place to stay!

This is a well-built, new, very clean cabin with front and back porches, hot tub, firepit, gas grill, charcoal grill, full kitchen, excellent queen bed in a loft. Bright stars at night. 42 species of birds observed on the wooded property in late April, including red-headed woodpeckers and flickers building nests right next to the driveway. The adjacent farmland and woods and its location on an unpaved road make it quiet at night. Within half hour drive of Edge of Appalachia Nature Conservancy Preserves. At this time of year the woods are full of wildflowers and songbirds. A delightful "home base" for 4 day vacation in Spring.

Lovely Setting

The cabin was beautiful as shown in the pics. It was stocked very well with anything you may need. I loved how it sits in the woods a bit. It’s a very relaxing setting, we enjoyed it very much. Very well kept inside and out.

My husband and I went for the weekend and absolutely loved it. This is going to be our new getaway spot. Cabin is beautiful and clean. Very remote and surrounded by woods and fields. Perfect spot to get away from life for a bit.

Ill try to keep it short and sweet. The host was communicative and a very cool. The cabin was super peaceful, quiet, and calm, with an amazing backyard fire pit view. It felt very secluded, yet the nearest Walmart was only 20 minutes away. I understand why people rate it 10 out of 10.

A wonderful getaway

This property exceeded our expectations for sure. While it is a cabin, it has everything up to date and with quality amenities. We couldn't have been happier and got to spend some relaxing time around the fire pit. Frank is an awesome host.

The Photos Don't Do It Justice...

After seeing the photos and reading the description, my wife and I decided to stay at the Fox Den for our anniversary. We arrived and not only did the beautiful cabin in the woods live up to the description, it is even more beautiful inside than the photos are able to show. Such amazing craftsmanship and care has been put into this place that it honestly is amazing that the owner lets anyone stay here. We have been disanointed with VRBO rentals in the past, but this cabin was pure perfection. Speaking of the owner, Frank was absolutely amazing every step of the way. We did not have any issues while we were there, but asking for local recommendations and a few other communications prior to our trip he was very quick to respond and help out in any way that he could. Our nights were spent sitting out back at the fire pit (fire wood provided!), sipping a glass of wine, and relaxing with not another person in sight. I honestly can't say enough about the Fox Den, or the owner, but I believe that my wife and I may have just found our yearly anniversary retreat. Thanks, Frank!
