This charming four-bedroom, 2.5-bath lake cottage has been completely renovated and transformed with an eye for detail and design. Fully renovated, Dune Crest combines perfectly appointed finishing and furnishings with upscale beachside decor, creating the perfect vacation ambiance. Step off the deck and walk across the dunes to the private beach or head down the driveway and use the boardwalk along Pigeon Lake for access. Either way, you are just steps from the famous Lake Michigan shoreline!

Nestled directly on Lake Michigan, this cottage offers a private beach and rolling dunes, providing endless, unobstructed views of the lake. Positioned just south of Pigeon Lake, there are no neighbors to the north, ensuring a tranquil setting and privacy.

INSIDE
Enter through the back deck to discover the beautifully outfitted kitchen, featuring a breakfast nook, granite countertops, and stainless appliances. The sand room is located off the kitchen, houses a full bath and creates a space for easy storage and access to beach equipment, with direct access to the inviting lakefront deck.

Transition from the eat-in kitchen to the living area, nautical wine bar, window seat with built-in bookshelves, and stairs leading to the second level. The primary bedroom, with its own bath and a queen bed, has a window to the front porch and lake views. A spacious front porch runs along the entire lakefront side of the house while showcasing a dining table that seats 8 comfortably, with a comfortable seating area accented with nautical décor and offering stunning lake views.

The living room and porch both provide unmatched vistas, while a large deck on the south side is accessible from the sand room or the front porch. Watching sunsets from the inside porch or the outside deck is a favorite activity for our guests. Upstairs, three bedrooms await – one with two full-size beds and stunning views of the lake, and two with one full-size bed with underneath storage drawers. (Note, this is truly a cottage, and there is very little closet space.)

In addition to a private beach that is limited to Port Sheldon Beach Association residents and guests only, convenient access to both Holland and Grand Haven (each about 20-25 minutes away) enhances the property's central location. Extensive bike trails abound and the association offers a popular pickleball court, tennis courts, beach volleyball, athletic fields for lawn games and a sunset deck located just below the cottage for community gatherings or morning yoga.

PARKING
There is one parking spot available at the top of the driveway. For extra vehicles, please utilize the parking area located at the bottom of the driveway, specifically on the old tennis courts. Please note that garage access is not available.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancel within 48 hours of making your reservation at no charge.
- Cancel 30 days or more in advance, and receive a full refund.
- Cancel 14 days in advance, and receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds for cancellations less than 14 days in advance of reservation start date.

There are no refunds for early departures, reductions in nights rented, or delayed arrivals due to inclement weather or any other factor. Please consider trip insurance to protect your investment.

This property is managed locally by BVW Unsalted Vacations Property Management in Holland, MI. We provide all professionally laundered linens, bath and beach towels, and a starter supply of paper and cleaning products along with emergency maintenance services.
