The space
Welcome to historic downtown West Chester, PA. This freshly renovated historic home boasts 2 Queen bedrooms and 2 full baths, sleeping 6. Amenities and accommodation await behind the lavender door. This home is nestled on one of the most desirable blocks in the borough that boasts 260 years of history. You are immediately welcomed into the primary living room of the home, with a bright and airy ambiance, accented by a fireplace focal feature. This area of the home is bathed in natural light and an ideal place to unwind after your day of perusing the bevy of local shops and restaurants afforded by this borough locale. The traditional floor plan transitions into the formal dining room with seating for 6, and onto the spacious kitchen. With all of the conveniences of home, in addition to holding ample prep and storage space, this area gives you the comfortability of creating your own culinary delights throughout your stay. To the rear of the home you will find the recreational comfort of the second living room. Unwind with a movie, challenge others to a board game, or start your day with a book and espresso pairing. The location of this property was perfect - we could walk to eating and shopping in West Chester. We also appreciated the secluded feel of the back yard. As long as you are comfortable climbing stairs (it is a historic home that includes somewhat steep steps to the bedrooms), I would definitely recommend this home!

Great stay in a great location

This place is very well kept. Check in was super easy. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you would need and love the coffee machine. Location is primo as it’s within walking distance to many restaurant and bar choices. Garage parking is a nice feature as well. Highly recommend this property.

Excellent Historic Home

The only thing that I was not clear on was that the 2 bedrooms are up some pretty steep stairs. This home is a well renovated historic home so it wasn't a surprise. It was not a problem for us but we are older and you just need to know it. We were there for a family event and didn't take advantage of being downtown, the kitchen or the courtyard. It was very nice, comfortable and the garage was a plus. We would stay there again.

This property is immaculate, renting for the second time. So many reviews make reference to the responsiveness of the owner, but we have never had such excellent responsiveness and consideration as from Derek. Recommend this property without any reservation. Best possible location, walking to wonderful restaurants every night.

Cute row house

Quirky fun row house right in town. Nice furniture, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms. Garage parking is kid of tricky but very helpful as street is time-limited. Kitchen is modern unit a bit thin on utensils. Very comfortable. Note that bedrooms are up some windy stairs so not appropriate for mobility limited folks. Street noise in the front bedroom was annoying on weekend (it’s a college town) but fine otherwise.

40th High School Reunion

My wife and I were so fortunate to find Derek’s perfect rental home in downtown West Chester. We were coming back for my 40th HS reunion at Teca and we wanted to find a spot that would allow us to walk into town. The home was perfectly located, very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Great West Chester Home

Perfect 4 night stay while in town visiting family

Location was great. Was here a very hot week so paid close attention to multiple AC units to keep it comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms modernized. Having a garage was very convenient. Historical character in downtown WC. Will stay here again if schedule works.

Perfect Home in West Chester, great place to see Brandywine Garden offerings!

Thank you Derek for sharing this wonderful property with us. Spotless and meticulous, all details anticipated and provided for. Derek was fantastic both before and during our stay, we could not have been more pleased. The property itself has so much character and so aesthetically appealing. We went to gardens every day - Chanticleer, Longwood, Winterthur, Mount Cuba Center (HIGHLY recommended along with Chanticleer) and came back home to park the car and walk to restaurants and all that West Chester offers out our front door. Will absolutely do this again.

Amazing location. amazing house

We stay in West Chester often and were so happy to have been able to find this lovely home available for one of our weekends visiting. Garage in back is perfect for the car. The inside of the house is beautiful and historic. The beds are so comfortable. Great location for walking into town. Host was communicative. We would love to stay again some time.
