C'est la base de vacances idĂ©ale pour explorer l'un des quartiers les plus populaires de la cĂŽte nord de Norfolk. Visitez Blakeney, avec ses excursions pour voir les phoques, et pour les divertissements traditionnels au bord de la mer, rendez-vous au quartier animĂ© de Hunstanton, avec sa grande plage de sable fin, ses attractions balnĂ©aires traditionnelles et son centre Sealife. De nombreux biens du National Trust et Holkham Hall, qui organise de nombreux Ă©vĂ©nements tout au long de l'annĂ©e, se trouvent ïżœïżœgalement Ă  proximitĂ©. We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to the Coastal Hideout. It is well situated in Wells and a great location for exploring the many attractive places in and around the North Norfolk coastline. We visited Walsingham, West Runton, Cley Next The Sea, Blakeney, Holkham Beach, Titchwell Marsh, Hunstanton, and even had time to play golf in Fakenham and Swaffham! Last year we visited Sandringham and Cromer. The property is well equipped and communications with the owner, Sarah, were good. The welcome bottle of wine and shortbread biscuits were much appreciated. The Crab House and Frenchñ€ℱs fish and chip shop are recommended when eating out.

Comfortable, well equipped bungalow with excellent bed and showers.

Comfortable, well equipped bungalow with excellent bed and showers. All you need in kitchen, great dining table. Near to centre of Wells and Harbour but also easy to get out and about in the area. Warm and cosy and owner stressed to use heating when weather very cold. Welcome pack. It's the time of year when the odd mark on rug and walls is expected and no doubt will be sorted in spring. We had to contact owner twice for maintenance (one time due to storm) and both times repair was same day as we said handyman could use key safe.Only improvement would be instructions for lightweight vacuum which was excellent for crumbs, etc but so difficult to empty without making a mess.Thank you for a great stay.

Coastal retreat

On arrival was looking for the white gates to the property which are not white they are brown not as in the picture advertised. The property smelt fusty when we first arrived but we put that down to no one being in before us. I might be picky but on first going in and going into the garden the door frames were really dirty and the blinds in the bedroom were very dusty. We put the bin bag out at night and noticed there was food remains in the black inside bucket. The small bedroom and bedroom with ensuite smelt of damp throughout our stay and the bedding in the small room on one of the beds was stained and the beds could do with pulling out and having a clean under and behind There is no bbq area unless make your own and the garden is very small not for a family with children. These are all negative points but mainly points to the owners who pay for professional cleaners... The property however id in an ideal position to the town everything in walking distance and we did enjoy our stay here none of the negative did spoil the holiday just want them to be constructive

A lovely cottage in an excellent location near the centre of Wells, a short walk to the harbour and the shops. The cottage owners seemed to have thought of everything to make a comfortable stay. If we were to make any suggestions for improvement, both bathrooms were dark and gloomy, so some more lights would be appreciated. Also the cooker hadn’t been checked. The grill pan had remains of burned grilled fish in it, which we had to wash to get rid of the smell. The oven also had a greasy oven tray left in it. It didn’t feel as though the cottage had had an extra Covid clean. However, we would happily stay there again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Very nice bungalow.

Very nice bungalow. Would definitely book again. Clean and warm and in a fairly quiet area (although close to the town) The only reason we have given it 9/10 instead of 10/10 is that when we arrived there was a note on the microwave to say not to use it as it was sparking. It was quite inconvenient to us not having the use of it. When we looked in the guest book we saw that two previous guests had commented on it so we feel this should have been replaced by now. Hopefully this was just an oversight on the owners part and will soon be rectified. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselves.

Far enough from the centre to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to walk to shops, pubs, etc.

Far enough from the centre to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough to walk to shops, pubs, etc. in a few minutes. Clean, warm and cosy with plenty of glasses, cups and plates in the kitchen. Table football was great fun! Off-road parking is vital in Wells, so gated drive was very useful.
