Revitaliser Ă  Woodland Retreat

Maison rustique calme, paisible et moderne Ă  quelques minutes de la ville mais loin de tout. Écoutez la nature sur le pont pendant que vous regardez le lever du soleil, puis dirigez-vous vers le centre-ville de Waynesville, le Blue Ridge Parkway ou un court trajet en voiture pour passer la journĂ©e Ă  Asheville. Notre maison est Ă©quipĂ©e d'une cuisine complĂšte, salle Ă  manger, salon et deux chambres king. Le niveau infĂ©rieur de la lumiĂšre du jour comprenait une tĂ©lĂ©vision, une table de billard et une table Ă  cartes avec 4 chaises, un futon double et une laveuse et une sĂ©cheuse pleine grandeur. Profitez du poĂȘle Ă  bois dans la salle familiale en hiver. Asseyez-vous sur le pont le matin ou le soir et dĂ©tendez-vous complĂštement dans un environnement naturel. Superbe vue fin automne / hiver de la ville et vue sur la montagne Ă  longue portĂ©e. Beaucoup de choses Ă  faire dans la rĂ©gion, Barbers Apple Orchard, festivals, Cataloochee Ranch et Ski Lodge est Ă  30 minutes en voiture. Observation des Ă©lans dans la vallĂ©e de Cataloochee, beaucoup de sentiers de randonnĂ©e et de cascades dans les environs. 30 minutes pour jouer Ă  Cherokee. PĂȘche Ă  la mouche Ă  Bryson City, Ă  40 minutes en voiture.
Notre propriété est sur une route de montagne à une voie. Une limite de vitesse stricte est en place pour des raisons de sécurité. PriÚre de rouler lentement! Nous sommes dans une communauté de montagne tranquille, nous ne pouvons pas accueillir les clients avec des motos.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette cabane, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de Hazelwood Soap Company. Profitez de votre séjour avec des équipements et services comme une cuisine et 3 plusieurs salles de bain disponibles dans cette cabane.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, water pressure/heating was excellent, kitchen was fully equipped, very quiet and clean neighborhood, providing a great home away from home. The owners were very responsive. We would definitely recommend this property. Some recommendations for the owner would be to provide more/brighter lighting in the kitchen, along with having the batteries (remotes & candles) and light bulbs checked regularly. In addition, have the cleaning services keep the patio wiped down. There an abundance of beautiful birds on the property and with that, their droppings build up.

Fall Anniversary weekend getaway -

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend at Woodland Retreat!! The cabin is perfect - clean, cozy, well stocked with a beautiful porch and amazing view! We enjoyed the pool table downstairs as well. The owners were very easy to work with and communicate. Thank you for a wonderful weekend of memories in Waynesville! We will definitely be back with our family. Love these NC mountains.

Great spot

Very clean. Beds were very comfortable! Has a top driveway so no steps needed for entry. Ten minutes to downtown. Nice front yard with view of mountains and the visiting animals.

Great Smokey's

If you want to visit the Smokey Mountains, you can't pick a better place. The roads are pretty winding, but this location puts you right in the heart of them. Asheville is close by, Clingman's Dome just an hour away and just about anything else you can imagine. The hosts are awesome and very responsive; and the pictures of the cabin are an accurate depiction of the cabin. You have to see this area, it is absolutely gorgeous. BT - Scranton, PA

Wonderful long weekend!

My wife and I wanted to get away to the mountains for a long weekend and our location did not disappoint. The check in was easy and the hosts provided plenty of information on the home and surrounding things to do. They even checked in to make sure we were enjoying our time. The home has a remote feel due to the neighborhood but still very close to dinning, shopping and activities.

Just what was needed

We had s such a great time we will likely stay again as we have family in the area. The view from the deck is amazing. I could sit on that deck and drink coffee all day long and listen to the wind in the trees. The surrounding woodlands are full of wildlife. We spotted turkey in the yard everyday and five deer also which our little one loved. The drive up to the property and into the driveway is not for beginners during any kind of weather but if you have 4 wheel drive it won’t be a problem at all. The accommodations are perfect, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen and bathrooms, pool table and Cornhole boards in the basement. The temps fell into the single digits during our stay and we were kept perfectly warm. The hosts provide a great guest book with clear instructions for everything and a journal for the guests to share a note with them. Such a great time we can’t wait to be back again.

This property is absolutely gorgeous . It is nestled back in a secluded private gated community . The beautiful area of trees and nature is overwhelming. Great for Thanksgiving holiday weekend

Our family of four visited this cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. It was cozy and comfortable. An added bonus - it's tough to tell from the photos, but you can drive up to the side entryway instead of having to rely on the stairs. This was very helpful for my older parents who struggle with stairs.

Woodland Retreat

We had a lovely three night stay at the Woodland Retreat. The road to the cabin is winding and mountainous as described in the ad. It is well maintained and paved the entire way. We had no problem getting there and back. The cabin was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well appointed. We spent the majority of our time on the wonderful deck. It has a nice gas campfire which was really pleasant. We also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds that came to the feeders. The owner was very friendly and super responsive to our questions. It is a lovely area and we really enjoyed our stay.

Weekend getaway

We had a great weekend getaway at this property. We booked it last minute, but had no problems with the owners responding quickly. We loved sitting on the porch for most of the day - we enjoyed watching the resident hummingbirds stopping by the feeders hanging up. All the facilities were clean and as pictured. We stayed up in the loft bedroom and enjoyed the experience immensely! Very close to Waynesville for going out to dinner as well.

Truly a beautiful woodland tea

Five stars!! We love to be in the woods, and we also appreciate a convenient location. Patty and Blake’s house is so well appointed, conveniently located, easily accessible, and the best location I’ve found in my numerous trips to Waynesville. At 3780 feet, the air is a little cooler, so, being there in July, I really enjoyed my time on the porch listening to the birds and feeling the breeze. I really enjoyed cooking on the range. It’s so nice! Truly a cook’s stovetop and oven. I have a Bosch convection oven at home, so I was super happy to see that. I appreciate so much the architecture and aesthetic of the home. The little bear cubs on the hearth made me smile several times, and the blue bird over the mantle is delightful. We chose to use the loft bedroom so we could enjoy the morning light from the east-facing windows, plus the interest of the architecture. We rested so well! Things happen, and often the truest indicator of quality service is found in what happens when something goes wrong, as it does sometimes. Such is life. We had an issue with a malfunctioning appliance while we were there, and as soon as we let Patty know what was happening, she took care of the situation immediately. We really appreciated her quick and thorough response. I predict that we will be back!

Great time on the mountain

Few days with the family in Waynesville, really enjoyed Woodland retreat. Comments re steep drive is accurate, but not a problem for this time of year. Be nice to have upstairs loft closed off for privacy but kids stayed up there so not a big deal. Porch in the morning or coffee or in evening was awesome. Highly recommend.

Just lovely!

My husband and I came from Cary NC to see our niece graduate high school. It was a beautiful drive up the mountain to the home. The bedrooms are spaced nicely if you bring others with you. Great entertainment with a tv in living room on the main floor and tv downstairs where the pool table is located. Not far to restaurants, shopping or gas. The wildlife was amazing! We can't wait to go back!
