Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or family as the first bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a king bed with an extra long twin trundle. Secluded back yard with private deck and hot tub that is wonderful to soothe muscles after a day of activities. Wall mounted TVs in both bedrooms and living room, all with ROKU and Spectrum Cable. Extensive movie selection available. Fully equipped kitchen. Home away from home!

I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!

A cozy place in unfamiliar territory

This was our first trip to Ohio do we didnt know the area and just tried to stay as close to family as possible. What a pleasant surprise this rental was. The driveway is beautiful, there are two very clear parking spots for whoever is staying. When we walked in the home smelled lovely, it was so clean and organized. The owners have thought of so many details to make for a comfortable stay that it received any stress. It was wonderful to be able to grocery shop and make dinner and not be forced to go out to eat for every meal. The other thing we were so happy about was how comfy the beds were. You just never know what you are going to get when you are traveling and we slept so well. I highly recommend this rental and if we come back to area we will definitely stay here if it is available. Thank you Storers for your Amazing hospitality.

Super cozy, peaceful, lovely home

I met two friends for the weekend here and we had a grand time. The house was perfect, the beds were big and comfortable, kitchen is modern, it has two bathrooms, the details are creative, and bears are EVERYWHERE! We enjoyed the hot tub and TV viewing options. I can’t say enough good things about this place, the owners were very accommodating, it comes highly recommended.

25th anniversary trip

Our 3rd stay here pretty much cements this special cabin as our go to getaway. It checks all the boxes and meets our needs perfectly. I kept telling my wife I could see us living in a property like this. Owners are awesome and added some special touches to make our stay memorable.

Perfect location. A few minutes to business area filled with restaurant retail and eating places, but then you get to tuck in your little cabin. Weather permitting, sit on the deck and watch nature or hit the hot tub! Dry clean and well appointed.

This was by far one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at! The place was extremely clean and well thought out! It’s in a nice and quiet area and the whole place was super cozy and comfy as well. The perfect spot

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was my husband, myself and kids (5 & 12). Carol prepared a snack basket with local chocolates and snacks my kids absolutely adored. The property is set back off the road and exactly as pictured. Clean, comfortable and stocked with all you need. We came to visit family and go to the Ohio REN faire. Easy drive to the faire as well as restaurants. The backyard was a dream- coming from Florida it was so nice to sit outside with coffee in the morning. Loved the DVD collection as we watched some of our favorites with our kids. Would 100% recommend and we already have plans to return.

Completely "Bear"able

What a great place to stay. Couldn't have asked for a nicer, cleaner, well appointed location. They had everything I could have needed and even some nice snacks. Very clean and extremely comfortable. Bed was so welcoming and each bedroom was equipped with a tv for comfortable viewing. The Storers' were very friendly as well. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

PERFECTION!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this property and will be our "go-to" from here on out. You feel like you are in a cabin in Tennessee, but it's half the distance for us. A perfect getaway for respite and relaxation. The owners have installed beautiful handrails throughout that helped my husband tremendously! It was a suggestion we made during our first visit and so thankful they implemented our suggestion. I would rate it a 10 out of 10! A warm and fuzzy go-to!

A Peaceful Stay

The property was beautiful and detailed so well for the guest. The owners have gone to great lengths to make sure everything is perfect for the guests. The decorations were so tasteful but reflected A Bear's Rest so well; the owners had found and displayed so many homey and unique decorations that went so well together. I couldn't believe there was a little bear on the lampshades. The handicapped shower was helpful and switches to everything were well labeled and easy to use. The 'manual' was easy to follow. Mattress was extremely comfortable; blinds were easy; living room furniture was relaxing; and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owners were caring and responsive. We hope we are able to get an opening here again when we visit our son next time. This was the perfect VRBO. Thank you so much.

Perfect location, perfect home away from home, perfect hostess

We used this wonderful cottage to visit friends in Lebanon and Maineville as well as attend a family reunion in Bellbrook. The place was perfect for a mildly handicapped and older visitor. There is one step within the cottage and a suitcase strategically placed acts as a railing. Laundry facilities are available as is an outdoor hot tub. There is one bath with pull down shower, plus 1 half bath.😃😃😃

Absolutely fantastic!

The property was just as it listed. She was an amazing host. Everything we needed was at the property with cute little notes around every where to assist us in finding things and the check out process. She also provided these little snacks which were a life saver for my kids after a long day of travel. The property provided a pack and play, and a high chair for our infant. The backyard is mostly shaded which allowed for plenty of time to get the kids outside to play. The property is close to several small towns but I never once had to deal with the annoying city sounds while there. It was secluded and private. I will absolutely look to book this property every time I come back into the area.

A Bears Rest

This was my first VBRO experience and I just hope any future VBRO's I do, will be as good as this one was. This place was ideal, quiet location, great place, the interior of this house is excellent. The owners are right next door and I enjoyed talking with them when I saw them outside. We used the hot tub every night. I would 100% or beyond, recommend this VBRO to anyone coming to the area.
