Little Creek Cottage-Alpaca Farm located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge

Little Creek Cottage is a perfect place to experience a peaceful way of life by admiring the natural beauty of the countryside, watching the alpacas, sheep, or other wildlife.
Little Creek Cottage is nestled in the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge, only a 25-minute drive from Portland Airport, and offers a perfect blend of nature and modern amenities. You can enjoy the serenity of the countryside while still having access to nearby conveniences.
If you're working remotely and still want to take a break, don't worry!
We have Wi-Fi access and a designated workspace so that you can work peacefully. The well-stocked kitchen will have you covered at mealtime. The cottage has a main floor bedroom with a queen bed, an upstairs bedroom with a queen and a twin bed, and an open loft area that can accommodate an additional person for sleeping (additional person fee per night). The bathroom is located on the first level.
We understand that your furry friends are part of the family, which is why we're delighted to welcome your well-behaved dogs to Little Creek Cottage. For a small pet fee of $50 (for up to two dogs), your four-legged companions can join in the fun and relaxation of your countryside getaway. Please note that the pet fee must be settled before check-in. While the yard is not fenced, we kindly ask you to keep in mind that wildlife may also be present, ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay for all.
Please note that there are steps up into the cottage as well as between the porch and the deck.
Outdoor security cameras are installed on the property.

Throughout the year, we rotate the alpacas and sheep to assist with grass mowing. They might be in a designated enclosure on the cottage property during your visit. The owners and farmhands will care for the animals and will have access to this area.

During the summer months, there may be a burn ban in effect.

This property is beautiful and the hosts were fantastic! We stayed for our Honeymoon. This location is good for access to Canon Beach, Redwood National Forest, Columbia River, Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood, etc. We loved feeding and visiting the alpaca and sheep. Truly a great place!!

Perfect stay for my family.

The first thing my family and I said was "wow" when we walked in. This is the cleanest and cutest house we have stayed in. Erika is a thoughtful host- from a cute smore substitute due to the fire ban, to towel bundles, to laying hay by the fence so the animals would come by to eat. It's a nice location to be somewhere quiet, yet easy enough to get to the waterfalls and such a long the river. It's a good child proof home that was great for my kids (age 3 and 5) to play the games upstairs. Horse shoe pit and hot tub was a great bonus! We would definitely stay again. Thank you for a great stay

Alpaca Cottage

We were drawn here by the alpacas, but it turned out to be one of the best VRBOs we’ve experienced. It was outside cities, but easy access to all highways to get to waterfalls, mountains and beaches.

Lovely visit to Columbia Gorge area

Well situated property that is clean and well taken care of. The main level bed was very comfortable and appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms. Jacuzzi was enjoyed by my entire family and was in excellent condition. The short nature trail at the back of the yard had lovely wildflowers lining the path.

Columbia River Gorge getaway

We picked out this cottage for a girls' weekend specifically because of the alpacas and they were everything we were hoping for! We enjoyed their morning visits before we headed out for adventures. The cottage was extremely clean and well stocked for our basic needs. It had a cozy country atmosphere while also being in relatively close proximity to a variety of hikes. The hot tub was a welcome treat after a day of hiking.I recommend taking a screenshot of check-in instructions prior to arriving because cell phone service was a little spotty.

We had such a great time staying at your VRBO! The sleeping arrangements, the hot tub, the kitchen, the laundry, the fire pit, the wood burning stove, the games, the path to the creek, the Alpacas
all fantastic. There only thing we could think I’d to make out better would be to have two bathrooms.

A place to rest

This was a beautiful place to rest after a long day of flying from the east coast. We went out exploring during the day but enjoyed the hot tub at night and coffee in the mornings. This is the cleanest place I've ever stayed. I felt like I could fully relax.

Quiet Getaway

The cottage was everything that was promised and included thoughtful little details like baby gates on the patio. As a dog mom and a clean freak, it can be hard to find places to stay that meet both of those preferences. This place was great! There were blankets to cover the sofa so my dog could sit with me, cleaning supplies available for use, and a spotless home. The best part was absolutely the alpacas, deer, and bunnies roaming the property!

Nice getaway

Had a really great time hanging out with the farm animals, hiking, playing board games, and relaxing in the hot tub. Our host was pretty great and responded quickly, although we did not need a lot, as everything was set up really well.

This was the perfect stay. One of the first things we noticed was how clean it was. The location was perfect to for relaxing. The hosts were great with communication and write back very quickly. Overall if you are looking for an adorable place, you should book this place.

Cute and cozy cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! Very clean, well organized with many games and activities to do. Close to stores but far away enough to feel like a retreat. We would definitely stay again. Be sure to say hi to the sheep and alpacas, they’re such cuties!

Amazing stay!

This property was very cozy and welcoming. It was decorated for Christmas! It contained everything we could possibly need including firewood and makings for s’mores! There’s even a sitting area down by the creek. And the alpacas and sheep! What an amazing place for a family to spend Christmas!

Amazing stay

The location alone was amazing. I have never stayed at a rental that was so well taken care of. The place was very clean and well-stocked. Erika takes extra care making sure there is everything you might need I.e. s’mores supplies, firewood and starter, etc.The heaters and indoor fireplace make inside cozy and warm despite the cold temperatures outside. In the morning we were greeted by the alpacas and rams next door. She even came to show us how to feed them and told us about them.I have never had a more positive experience and will definitely come back.

Amazing Sister's Weekend

We had a great stay! The hosts were communicative, professional, and kind. The house was so clean! Great attention to detail with instructions for hot tub (amazing!), TV, Roku, wifi, kitchen, mini-splits in each room for individualized comfort, various pillows, smores fixings for fire pit, fire wood for indoor fire place, games...the list goes on. Oh gosh, the alpacas and sheep were a true highlight to our stay! And grounds with a calm and sweet creek (little dock, table and chairs), and horse shoes. Adorable! Thank you Erika and Josh, we love love love your cottage. :)

Absolutely wonderful

We travel a lot as older retirees. We have stayed at several properties that did not live up to “the hype”. Little Creek Cottage is one of the nicest places we have stayed! The property is beautiful, the alpacas came to the fence to check us out! It’s an easy drive to the grocery store and the kitchen is very well equipped. Sitting on the porch was so relaxing! It is more expensive than we usually like and I was so nervous that we would be disappointed. We were not.

Great Cottage

Great place to stay. Very clean and a very cute cottage. Loved the quiet and farm like setting. Close to grocery store and gas station. We visited the Multnomah Falls about a 50 minute drive.(not a bad drive) I would highly recommend this cottage.

Property was fantastic!

The property was very well appointed and located in a secluded, beautiful countryside. It had everything we could possibly need. The little creek running through the property, the hot tub, the s'mores kit and the friendly alpaca and sheep located right next door were an added bonus. It was our first visit to that area of the US and it did not disappoint. It was close enough to attend our grandson's motocross events at the Washougal MX park (which the drive was beautiful itself to and from the park) and close enough to explore the Columbia River Gorge and all the beautiful waterfalls along the way. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again if in the area. Super Hosts with a fantastic property.

Short vacation for rest and hiking

Perfect place to get the rest we wanted while being close to hiking areas we wanted to check out. Being able to feed the Llamas and sheep was a bonus. This was the cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. The communication with the host was top notch. I had a few questions and she got back with me within minutes each time. We plan on coming back!

Beautiful, peaceful

I stayed one night with my daughter and four of her friends for something special on her 10th birthday. The next night it was me and my family of five. Everything was perfect and I hope we find a time to return. Erika and Josh take excellent care of the place and have provided very thoughtful extra touches that make a vacation stay just seem to have exactly what you need when you need it. On top of that, they even left some extra special touches for my daughter's birthday. We enjoyed watching a nest of red-tailed hawks with three babies from the back porch, through our binoculars. The alpacas and sheep were fun to watch too. The girls tried to name all of them. Five stars through and through, and I hope we return again soon!
