Step into our beautiful and modern two-story home in the buzzing neighborhood of Columbia Heights - it is the perfect place for couples, tourists, traveling executives, professors & students alike, looking for a very central area to explore Washington, D.C. Just 2 miles from The White House & National Mall, a quick stroll to Howard University, 10 minute walk from Columbia Heights metro station and stones throw to the buzzing restaurant scene. Guests can enjoy all that the city has to offer.

The Space:
Boasting a spacious sunny living room, full sized chef's kitchen with not one but TWO ovens, comes equipped to whip up delicious meals! This property has 2 bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms. Enjoy our ensuite DOUBLE shower with ample space for two to relax and unwind after a day exploring. There is a SmartTV in the interactive living area, perfect for unwinding together after a day of exploring the city. Stream from your favorite apps like Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Hulu and more.  Equipped with a Keurig coffee maker and tea kettle we will be sure to leave some local coffee and tea for you to enjoy!

We can sleep 6 guests comfortably by use of the below;

- Queen sized bed in the primary bedroom (upstairs)
- Queen sized bed in the 2nd bedroom (upstairs)
- Queen Sized sofa bed in living room

There is a laptop friendly work space in the primary bedroom, perfect to catch up on emails or work from home.

There is a family living in the lower level unit so please do be mindful of noise and our quiet hours. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

The Neighborhood:
The hip neighborhood of Columbia Heights has a plethora of dining, shopping and entertainment options!
With excellent proximity to public transportation you are not limited to the area, but you may not want to leave. With small family owned stores intermingled with big box stores so big you could get lost in, any shopper will find something up their alley! Stroll the mural lined streets and take in a show at the Tivoli Theater in lovely Columbia Heights! We are also close to some of DC’s trendiest areas; The ever lively 14th Street Corridor is a great area where you can find bars, restaurants, galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, music venues, vintage stores: the 14th Street scene has an experience for everyone. The U St Corridor which houses some of the best nightlife in the District is also a short distance from the apartment - the amazing music, food, and drink scene is a great way to spend an evening, and soak up the DC experience.

Getting Around:
We are a six minute stroll from Columbia Heights metro station. From there guests have access to the green and yellow lines. You can also catch several buses that whisk you all over the city, and nearby capital bikeshares make traversing the city a fun!
