Fall in love with this beautifully remodeled, contemporary 1928 Rowhouse. The house is very close to the highly popular H Street Corridor, Capitol Hill, and Kingman Park! This home has tons of character as the neighborhood is deemed under historic preservation per the DRCA. The house features a beautifully decorated private backyard featuring bistro lights, a fire pit and grill giving guests a place to relax after a busy day in the city!

The space:
The first floor welcomes family/friend activities like board games, puzzles, watching a movie or a dinner gathering with its open floor plan connecting the living room to the kitchen.

The downstairs features a bedroom suite that offers an additional couch and Smart TV for extra space to hang out or privacy for family and friends.

The upstairs features two bedrooms (one suite) with queen beds and Smart TVs.

Considering the area, the property was well kept. Beds were comfortable, home was warm and inviting. Felt like we were staying at home as opposed to a rental. Easy drive to DC attractions and tons of restaurants near by.

The host was easy to communicate with multiple times throughout the process. The downstairs bed linen was not very clean and the WiFi went out after the 2nd day. Location was ok. An easy $20 Uber ride to national mall. Not anything to walk to once back. If you had a car that might open options for evening entertainment. Kitchen was nice to have but could have used more kitchenware. Not many glasses and all pans were very worn. Had a dishwasher and washer dryer so that was helpful and convenient.

The house was awesome. We loved it, the neighborhood is charming with families, we even experienced a block celebration for a prom (very cool)! The neighborhood outside the houses is a little suspect, but nothing to be fearful of...just not a neighborhood where you are going to find restaurants to walk and eat at. It was a little farther from Downtown DC and all the places we wanted to see than we thought, but still only a 20 minute uber ride. Communication with Jake was great! I would recommend staying at this house if traveling to the DC area.

Exactly what we needed

We were in town visiting family that lives nearby. This house had all we needed- a secure parking spot so we could come and go as we pleased, good location with a great playground nearby, and close to our family. It was clean and pleasant. Thanks for a nice stay.

Great stay in DC

We had a great stay in DC. The house was very comfortable, clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. There was more than enough room for two adult couples and with the three full bathrooms it really is enough room for three couples. The location was great and it was nice to have a private parking spot. It is a 15 minute walk to Stadium/Armory metro station or a 3 minute walk to the streetcar which takes you to Union Station. Jake was great to work with. Definitely recommend!

Clean, great communication, & as listed

The communication from pre-stay to on-our-way-out-the-door was very good. The house was clean and as listed. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as the nice kitchen was a huge plus, as was the laundry. It was a good location for our family to stay, and we walked daily to the bus, streetcar, and metro. We would stay here again.

Awesome House, Awesome Host

Huge thanks to Jake for an amazing property and experience. The property was as lovely as it looks in the pictures. Spacious, clean, and practical. Jake even made sure to have things like seasonings and other cooking items so that we wouldn’t have to purchase them for one time use. He was also very responsive and polite during our interactions. Neighborhood was quiet. House had everything you needed except reading lights next to bed. Public transportation access is short walk from property. Also bike share station is two blocks away. Owner response is quick. We had a great time in DC.!
