Walk through the front door into the living room and you'll be welcomed into this cozy, relaxing space. Unwind at night and watch a show on the 55" Smart TV with fire stick remote or have fun playing provided board games. There is also a basket of children's book and toys.
Next, you are invited into the kitchen and dining area that is fully equipped for entertaining family and friends. The kitchen features: drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, Electric tea kettle, blender, pots and pans, toaster, crockpot, air fryer, spices, olive oil, plates, bowls, cups, cutting boards, silverware, knife block, baking sheet, and kitchen utensils. There is also a microwave and dishwasher. Dining table seats 8.
There is a pet basket equipped with bowls, leash, collar, toys, treats, a brush, poo bags, and a blanket. These are available to use during your stay.
2nd Floor: 1st Bedroom has a Queen bed, dresser, 32" Smart TV and closet. 2nd Bedroom has a King bed, dresser, 32" Smart TV and a closet. There is also a Full Bathroom.
Downstairs: 1 Bedroom with King Bed and Full Bathroom. Has a 42" TV with fire stick. Full size washer and dryer with iron, board, and hand steamer.
Each Bathroom is stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash for your convenience. Each bathroom has a hair dryer.
Inside the home are carpeted steps leading upstairs and downstairs both with handrails.
When the weather is blazing you are steps from the Old Town outdoor pool which you can walk to around the corner. A daily admission fee of $6 per person will be charged by the facility.
There is free street parking with the validated parking pass we will provide to you for the days of your stay. Let the host know if you need more than one and it will be provided.
Outside the home: Fenced in front yard. There is a beginning set of 2 steps from the sidewalk and a secondary set of 5 steps leading to the front door. The back deck has a set of 5 steps leading to the back door.
The house is located near the above-ground metro and Amtrak train station. While this makes those transit choices convenient, it also comes with some associated noise: the light rumble of the metro trains on the elevated tracks, and the occasional sound of a train horn. However, we have never experienced any issues with excessive noise inside the townhouse. For instance, it does not affect your ability to have a conversation or watch TV. The metro trains do not run after midnight (2am on weekends) and the Amtrak and commuter trains are infrequent.
