New oreiller haut lit queen-size et un siĂšge d'amour jumeau pliant sont dans la salle "Conservatoire". Pour votre commoditĂ©, vous trouverez un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, micro-ondes, cafetiĂšre et grille-pain dans le placard de plain-pied avec des ustensiles de restauration jetables. Profitez du jardin en ayant votre cafïżœïżœïżœ du matin sur le banc et la table. parking dans la rue Ample et sans restriction en face de la maison. La maison est situĂ©e dans le charmant Palisades Village, voir la galerie de photos. (Les principales installations maison de blanchisserie sont ïżœïżœ votre disposition.)

Environ 1. 5 miles à l'American University, Georgetown, Georgetown University, et les ambassades françaises et allemandes.

TRANSPORT:
Nous sommes juste un bloc 1/2 des lignes de bus D5 / D6 (coin de V St. et MacArthur Blvd NW) à Georgetown, DuPont Circle, Banque mondiale, Centre-ville, le quartier National Mall, Penn, La Maison Blanche, Metro Center , Union station, i. e. tout ce que vous voulez voir! Prenez un Starbucks et asseyez-vous tout en profitant de la meilleure 1 $. 70 balade à travers quelques-uns des quartiers les plus intéressants et les plus belles de la ville! Pour de plus amples informations sur le transport en commun s'il vous plaßt visiter Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA) à l'adresse Aller à "Trip Planner" pour trouver les options de voyage entre la destination souhaitée et notre maison.
Si vous avez votre propre voiture il y a un parking de la rue sans restriction sur le bloc. Si vous ne disposez pas d'une voiture, mais préférez les voitures pour le transport en commun, 3 options sont Zipcar, Car2Go et Uber taxi (en plus des taxis réguliers).

Great sunroom stay

The sunroom in the back of the home is a perfect one-room plus bath getaway in Palisades a block off MacArthur. Two single beds (one a pullout) along with desk and TV. Easy walk to the library, BlackSalt, Blacks new Coffee shop and PIzza parlor along with many other great in area.

Fabulous Room to Rent

This rental in a house is unique with 11 windows filling the room with light, and a beautiful octagon/dome ceiling. The room was also built with angled sides. The cozy bay window bed, and all of the room looks out onto a pretty garden. It was also a bonus that on two sides of the garden, no windows are facing the room, so it feels very private. The location is ideal. Within two blocks you can catch a bus to go downtown to see the sights. If you’re adventuresome, close by you can walk through the woods, over a few rocks in a creek, and through a short tunnel coming out at the canal. Two minutes later, you're at Fletcher’s Boat House where you can rent all kinds of boats to enjoy the Potomac River. Charlotte was very accommodating and responsive. Usually a text popped up within minutes to answer questions or lend a hand. A bee had stung me at a pool, and she had more than just Calamine lotion. I was very impressed that within a day after I made a couple of suggestions, she had bought a new fridge and a side table for the bed! She’s a model of not procrastinating. I could use advice from her! I don’t know how I happened upon the VRBO site, but I am extremely glad I did. Charlotte's hospitality and the lovely room made the experience fabulous.

LONGER STAY, SOLID TRUTH...

I STAYED FOR 3 MONTHS BUT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MANY THINGS RELATED TO THIS PLACE. 1. LISTING DESCRIPTION: -NO PICTURE FOR THE SHOWER BECAUSE IT'S ILLEGAL SIZE, VERY SMALL.I'M SO TINY AND WHEN I ENTER THE SHOWER MY ARMS,ELBOWS, AND BACK HITTING THE WALLS!. I ASKED THE HOST WHY THERE IS NO PICTURE FOR IT, SHE SAID BECAUSE IT'S A STANDARD SIZE, IF IT'S REALLY STANDARD SIZE, AGAIN, WHY NO PICTURE FOR THE SHOWER?!. -THE KITCHEN, NO KITCKEN THERE, ONLY A VERY SMALL FRIDGE EXACTLY THESE USED IN HOTEL ROOMS, AND A MICROWAVE PUT IN A VERY SMALL SPACE FOR A CLOTHING CABINET. I KEPT USING THE MICROWAVE FOR STEAMONG FOOD. - THE BATHROOM IS FULL OF ANTS REACHING MY TOOTHBRUSH, THE SINK, TO MY FOOD AND BEDROOM, (POOR SANITATION). - THE TOILET SEWAGE IS CONNECTED TO THE SHOWER DRAINAGE; THE SMELL IS AWFUL. 2.THE HOST'S: - SHE WELCOMED ME FIRST AND GAVE ME SOME MILK AND 4 OATMEAL CUPS, AND I THANKED HER SO MUCH FIRST DAY OF MY ARRIVAL. -THE HOST DID NOT TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT THE AREAS THAT I SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO. -SECOND DAY WHEN I WANTED TO GO TO WORK, I FOUND THE OUTER DOOR LOCKED THAT I CAN'T GO OUT FROM THE HOUSE. - I CAN'T DO MY LAUNDRY UNLESS IF SHE'S AT HOME, I HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE BASEMENT, SHE SAID THAT(ALL HOSTS DO NOT PROVIDE LAUNDRY FACILITIES, AND I'M IN THIS BUSINESS FOR 14 YEARS!. - OPENED MY LETTERS (MAILS) TWICE, WHICH IS A FEDERAL OFFENCE AND FRAUD. - TOLD ME TO PAY 15% TAX IF I LEFT THE PLACE. ALL DOCUMENTED IN MESSAGES WITH DATES AND TIME.

Great time at DC !!!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à DC, le logement est vraiment jolie, il est trÚs bien situé au calme avec la nature à coté tout en étant proche des commodités, bus, magasin, etc... Charlotte est vraiment trÚs gentil, elle nous à bien expliquer toutes les visites et DC. Malgré notre anglais moyen nous avons réussit à échanger et ce fut fort sympathique. Magnifique capital avec beaucoup de visites !!! Je vous le recommande fortement, Great time at DC !!! Ludo

A nice studio appt in a great location

The studio is not fancy but clean and well appointed. It is great for one or two persons. It also opens into a pleasant shaded garden that is also available to guests. Finally, you are only a few steps from several excellent restaurants, the public library, a bus route to town and walking and biking paths along the Potomac.

Great for a couple exploring the city

We wanted to stay in a nice but accessible part of DC for a few days and this was a perfect spot. The place had everything that we needed. Charlotte was really hospitable with great recommendations for things to do around the city.

Nice location but very small

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this space (an attached addition on the back of a home) in March, for three adults. It's quite cramped for three (requires using the twin hide-a-bed), but would be cozy for two. The bathroom, particularly the shower, is also quite small - so small so that you can't even bend over if you want to wash your lower body (unless you're fairly petite). We had some issues with the HVAC the first night, as it had an extremely loud fan that kept going on and off, awaking us each time, but the owner was very responsive and had it serviced the next day. She also provided additional quilts for the beds the second day. There is a shortage of electrical outlets in the rental space, which can be a concern if you're needing to charge computers and other electronics. But, if there are only one or two of you, and you want to be very cozy, this is a great location in DC, and the owner is very responsive to problems or concerns that come up.

Wonderful stay!

Great location! Very quiet, cute neighborhood and walking distance to a grocery store and a few restaurants. Parking in DC has always been expensive and horrible, but we used uber to quickly get where we wanted to go. Small kitchenette to store leftovers and breakfast items. Wonderfully descriptive welcome guide!! The apartment was SPOTLESSLY clean and the owner helpful if a problem occurred. We would stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I really enjoyed this vacation home. We were away most of the day and would return to a nice, quiet neighborhood. I would have given it 5-stars but we had a small issue with the air conditioning. We reported the issue and received a prompt response. Unfortunately, it was never fixed but it wasn't too bad because we would return really late at night. So we slept with the windows open. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect DC getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Five star everything for a fraction of the cost. A short walk to all the necessities and an easy Uber ride to DC. Host was beyond helpful providing wine, coffee, tea... even umbrellas on the day it rained. Without a doubt, I would stay here again!

Reviewer Comments: This was my second, 3-night, stay and everything was as before: clean, ready for me and very convenient; including the off-street parking. A Safeway is less than 5 minutes walk away. The WiFi works well and the nights are so quiet that a good rest is assured. Excellent, good-value restaurants abound in the neighbourhood. I'll be back! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Charming little add-on behind house in a nice residential area. Hostess lent us her neighborhood parking pass, which made it much easier to park. Close to Georgetown and American University. Not fancy, but charming, with small but adequate bathroom, coffee maker and small fridge. Under direct flight path of National Airport, took awhile to get used to the sound of takeoffs at 5:00 a.m. Heater worked very fast (too well!) in quickly heating the room. Very private and cozy. Hostess very helpful printing out our boarding passes.

Bus to/from downtown works excellent during peak hours, nice shops and restaurants for immediate needs just round the corner. Will definitely come back.
