The Space:

Sleeping 10, this house is perfect for any group or family! The recent renovations converted the downstairs basement from an independent living unit to part of the overall house. As a result, it may seem unusual for there to be two kitchens and two sets of washer dryers in this house. But you deserve luxury so why not two kitchens and two sets of W/Ds? Treat yourself and your family :)

The Neighborhood:

Located along Highway 1 near the Potomac River, Potomac West is a vibrant neighborhood offering easy access to historic Downtown Alexandria. Its tree-lined streets are home to upscale residences and luxury apartments for rent. While the area’s central location leads to higher rent, there are also more affordable housing options. Across Highway 1, Potomac Yard Center features a variety of stores, retailers, and grocers, with additional dining and shopping options nearby. Mount Vernon Avenue offers charming local restaurants, cafĂ©s, specialty shops, and a farmers market. Several subway stations provide convenient access to Washington, DC, just seven miles north.

To abide by all legal requirements and HOA rules, you WILL be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Failure to provide these documents will result in a cancellation and denied entry.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

- You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.

- You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.

- You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking.



Minimum age requirement of primary person booking should be:

1. 22 years old for out of town guests

2. 25 years old for local guests



No weapons or drugs allowed; zero tolerance means police will be called for violating this rule.



Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 10pm-7am each day.



Long-term stays (30 days+): Long-term guests will be subject to a background search and credit check.



Note that all guests are required to submit a $150 security hold on a credit card in case of incidentals that is released 3-5 days post check out or may choose a $35.00 non-refundable damage waiver.

Home was clean and spacious. Free bus right outside so quick trip to Metro to get into town. Near airport. Plenty of dishes so we could cook/eat in. Worked well for us.

Property was well cleaned and free of any clutter. Pictures match home exactly. Would benefit from outside picture of home on listing as outside looked a little rough and was difficult to find because I had no outside picture to go by. Like said inside just like pictures everything was as described. Had minor issues that host said would address after we left.

Plenty of room!

This spacious home had plenty of space for all of us. Three showers, two washer/dryer units, and plenty of beds. Conveniently located near to everything we needed and wanted to do. A short 20 minutes to the capital.

Clean and convenient

This property, at first glance was very well presented, it was clean and there were plenty of things that guests need like towels, extra sheets, pillows, kitchenware and paper products. There were a total of 7 guests and everyone had plenty of room and 3 bathrooms was what made us choose this home, as most rentals had only 1 or 2 bathrooms. However the home itself had some issues like a broken banister (safety hazard), holes in the wall, mildew in the basement, broken dining room chair, broken oven window (stove was still operational), inoperative garbage disposal, overhead lighting that flickered constantly (in the bedroom closest to the kitchen and the bathroom in the room with the 2 queen beds - wiring issue?). Also, we had to use the side door leading to the basement and it was not well lit and not well kept (slippery steps) which is a safety issue. The above concerns were immediately brought to the attention of the property owner along with pictures and we were told that they would be immediately addressed. They offered to come during our stay, but I asked them to come after we checked out. Nothing above except for the garbage disposal not working prohibited us from staying and we got around the garbage disposal problem. The owners were very responsive to our concerns and promised to addressed all the issues for future guests. My friends and I would stay here again provided the owners address all the above problems.
