Located in the heart of historic Capitol Hill, this beautiful 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment with two Queen Beds and Queen pull out sofa is thoughtfully designed for work and play with incredible walkability to all that DC has to offer. Located just a block away from The Roost Food Hall, where guests can enjoy dining and drinks from local restaurants, or a 10 min stroll to the numerous restaurants and bars of the famous Barracks Row and Eastern Market, you’ll never run out of entertainment.

Welcome to our beautiful 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment in the heart of Capitol Hill! This apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing meals during your stay, as well as an in-unit washer/dryer. The location is unbeatable—ideal for tourists or business travelers looking to experience all that Washington, DC has to offer. Guests can also walk just .2 miles to the Potomac Avenue Metro Station, which services the Blue, Orange and Silver lines and can quickly take you to the monuments, museums and numerous other DC attractions. We pride ourselves in being very responsive and can’t wait to welcome you to our nation’s capital.

NEIGHBORHOOD
Capitol Hill is a dynamic and historically rich neighborhood situated in the center of Washington, D.C. It is home to some of the nation’s most significant institutions, including the United States Capitol, the Supreme Court, and the Library of Congress.

The area is also steeped in history, featuring iconic landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the expansive National Mall.

Known for its cultural diversity, Capitol Hill boasts a vibrant arts scene, with numerous museums, galleries, and theaters. It is also home to Eastern Market, a beloved local spot offering fresh produce, handcrafted goods, and a variety of food vendors.

The neighborhood showcases a blend of architectural styles, from stately historic rowhouses and elegant federal buildings to modern apartment complexes.

Dining options in Capitol Hill are diverse and plentiful, with a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, and bars serving everything from traditional American dishes to international flavors. guests can walk a block to the high-end food court, the Roost, or explore a variety of dining options along Barracks Row, including a Michelin-rated restaurant, and other vibrant dining options.

Throughout the year, Capitol Hill hosts a variety of community events, including the Capitol Hill Classic 10K, the Pottery on the Hill show by the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop, and the popular Capitol Hill Jazz Jam.

Guests can also enjoy visiting Eastern Market, which we highly recommend on the weekends, with its bustling market, with food vendors, fresh produce and other local items for purchase. In addition, one can walk to Trader Joes for groceries, as well as numerous other retail establishments like CVS. In short, the apartment is in tremendous location for one to explore all that the nation’s capital has to offer!

Walking:
Capitol Hill is an easily walkable neighborhood, with many key attractions and amenities just a short stroll away from each other.

Public Transportation:
The area is well-served by public transit, with several Metro stations nearby. The Potomac Avenue Metro station is just a 3 min. walk from the property, offering quick access to other parts of the city through the Blue, Orange and Silver Lines. Additionally, several bus routes pass through the neighborhood, connecting to popular tourist spots.

Bikeshare/Scooters:
Cycling is a convenient way to get around Capitol Hill, with bike lanes and bikeshare stations scattered throughout the area. Lime and Bird electric scooters are also available for rent, offering a fun and efficient way to travel.

Parking:
Ample street parking is available around the perimeter of the property. We have 1 parking spot in the rear of the building that can be rented out for $30/day. This parking space is first come first serve so we cannot guarantee it will be available for your stay, please message us for parking spot availability or general parking questions/concerns.

Rideshare:
For a more convenient option, you can use rideshare services like Uber or Lyft to navigate the neighborhood without worrying about parking.
