Other things to note
ACCESSIBILITY
The chalet is accessed via several exterior steps. Inside, the hand-hewn loft stairs are steep and narrow, as is typical of traditional log homes, and may be challenging for guests with mobility concerns.
DRIVING AND ACCESS
• The chalet is accessed by a steep Vermont dirt road, with the final 1/10 mile all uphill.
• November through April: AWD/4WD and winter tires are required.
• April through early May (mud season): A higher-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended due to muddy road conditions.
• May through October: No special vehicle requirements.
• Please plan accordingly, as weather and road conditions can change quickly.
RURAL SETTING
• The chalet is located in a quiet, wooded setting.
• Guests may see wildlife and hear occasional seasonal maintenance typical of a rural Vermont property.
• Cellular service is limited to poor depending on your carrier, but the Wi-Fi is reliable, and enabling Wi-Fi calling before arrival is strongly recommended.
SECURITY CAMERAS
Exterior security cameras are located on the property and monitor the driveway and entrances. There are no cameras inside the cabin or in private guest areas.
