LARA`S LAKE & MOUNTAIN ESCAPE
At Lara`s Escape, you`ll be welcomed into a spacious home readily available for two families or a big group of friends. Space to spread out and enjoy the stunning scenery of the mountain and lakes. While the home is listed for up to 9 guests, it can accommodate up to 11 with the use of the fold-out sofa in the second living area, which sleeps an additional 2 guests. Please note, the sofa bed is not made up permanently, if youâd like to use it, let us know in advance so we can have it prepared for your stay.
Bedrooms:
âą Master Bedroom: Set upstairs, you`ll enjoy a balcony with mountain and lake views. Complete with a queen-sized bed and an ensuite.
âą Bedroom 2: Fitted with a queen-sized bed
âą Bedroom 3: Fitted with a single-sized bed
âą Bedroom 4: Fitted with a bunk bed, double on bottom and single on top.
âą Second Living Area: The sofa can be converted into a bed to accommodate additional guests if needed. Please note, it will only be made up upon request.

Relax in style on our comfortable lounge suite. The perfect space to unwind, with a large flat screen TV. There is also an additional living area fitted with a fold out couch and flat screen TV.
Entertainment:
Stay entertained with 2x 65` smart TV, offering a range of apps such as Netflix, Prime, Apple and much more. We also have a ping pong table set up ready to be used.
Kitchen:
Complete with a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove and oven and handy Nespresso coffee machine.
Laundry:
Enjoy the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, ensuring you have everything you need for an extended stay.
Wi-Fi:
Stay connected with high-speed, unlimited internet access, free of charge, keeping you in touch with loved ones or work.
Family Friendly:
With enough room for two families, our home is a great option for two families wanting to create memories together.
Parking:
Benefit from an internal private garage for one vehicle, and plenty of off street parking available. On street parking right outside the property is also an option.
Garage:
Includes parking for one vehicle, with additional space for bikes or outdoor equipment.
Outdoor Area:
Equipped with a BBQ, perfect for those summer months.
Location: Located in a family-friendly setting while remaining just a short drive from Wanakaâs town centre. Residents are close to local shops, cafĂ©s, and amenities, with easy access to lakeside walking and cycling trails. The location perfectly balances peaceful suburban living with convenience, making it an ideal base to explore Wanakaâs natural beauty and outdoor lifestyle.

While this property is self-contained, Lakeview Properties wants to ensure you have everything necessary to begin your holiday smoothly.
We provide essential amenities such as toilet paper, washing powder, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tablets or powder, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand wash.
Please be aware that these are just initial supplies, and you may need to replenish them during your stay.
Guests have access to the whole house, including one side of the double garage.
I respect the privacy of my guests but remain readily available to address any enquiries. Occasionally, I may stop by simply to ensure that everyone is enjoying their stay.
OUR STRICT RULES:
No loud noise outside after 10:00 pm:
As we are situated in a residential area, we kindly request that you refrain from creating any disruptive noise after 10:00 pm. Our neighbours have been informed to notify us of any excessive noise disturbances. If you anticipate difficulty adhering to this rule, we kindly ask that you reconsider booking with us.
Minimum age requirement:
Guests must be 25 years or older to book this property. The primary guest must be staying for the duration of the reservation and may be asked to provide ID for verification.
No parties without prior approval:
Any gatherings or events require prior approval, and unauthorised parties will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation with no refund. Please note there may be an additional fee for hosting extra guests if approved.
Checkout is at 10:00 am:
We kindly request that you check out by 10:00 am on the day of departure. If you require a late checkout, please submit your request at least 24 hours in advance. Late checkouts are subject to availability.
No smoking inside the property:
Smokingâincluding the use of any recreational drugsâis strictly prohibited inside the premises.
Leave the property in a reasonable state:
We expect the property to be left in a reasonable and tidy condition upon departure. Any additional cleaning required beyond standard procedures will be charged at $60 per hour. Please promptly report any damages, spills, or stains during your stay. If necessary, you may be held responsible for replacement or professional cleaning costs.
Board games:
We love that guests enjoy our games, but please ensure all games are returned to their original boxes before departure. As reassembling games is a time-consuming task, a $60 charge will apply if the cleaner needs to complete this.
BBQ cleaning:
The BBQ and utensils must be cleaned after each use by the guest. Failure to do so will result in a $100 cleaning charge.
