The Schoolhouse · The Schoolhouse

This newly remodeled turn-of-the-century duplex was one of the original schools in Walla Walla. Completely remodeled in 2016, the `Schoolhouse` is now yours to enjoy.

Original hardwoods and coved ceilings still adorn the rooms. All new furnishings, fixtures and appointments have been installed throughout. The private fenced backyard is ideal for grilling on the BBQ and outdoor dining.

A quick walk to downtown Walla Walla.

Ease of checking/out. Great communication, secure off street parking and perfect location to downtown Walla Walla. Never had to drive more than five minutes to the great restaurants offered here. Also easy on off freeway access. Great location to go visit local wineries as well.

Great location, very clean and well appointed. Our pup loved the fenced back yard and the walk friendly neighborhood. We loved sitting out by the fire pit with a glass of wine at the end of the day. We would definitely stay there again.

Older property, maybe could do with a freshening up outside, but it was perfect for our needs. Close to family and easy walk to everything we wanted to do. Excellent for two couples, one on main with queen room and ensuite and other downstairs with king and a bathroom close by. Enjoyed our stay!

We had a great two-night stay at the Schoolhouse. The house was clean, in walking distance to downtown Walla Walla, and well appointed. It was one of the best vacation rentals at which we have ever stayed. Every little detail was thought of, from fresh coffee beans and grinder, washer and dryer, to plush towels, robes, and slippers, as well as great toiletries and a clean grill. The bedrooms had comfortable mattresses, with two bedrooms having a TV and the couch in the living room was large enough for three people to sit comfortably and it also has an additional chair. We used the internet to stream some movies and it buffered a couple of times but mostly worked fine. We would definitely stay at the Schoolhouse again.

Planned a girls trip to Walla Walla The accommodations were as advertised. Clean and well stocked. Our only complaint was the beds were a bit too firm for our liking, other than that great property.

Plenty of room for 3 couples. Extremely clean, comfortable and beds were cozy with nice linens. We had everything we needed. Location within 5 min walk of downtown Walla Walla. The property manager is very communicative. Great stay.

Great location, cute house

We've stayed here before with friends and this stay was also very enjoyable. We love that this house has 3 queen/king beds, rather than a pull out couch or bunkbeds. Walking distance to main st and all it has to offer and vineyards were all just over 10 min drive! We will stay again!

Convenient location. Smaller common rooms, but adequate for us! Location is very walkable to downtown and Whitman. Gotta walk by a number of unkept houses in the neighborhood, but that seems to be the case in all of Walla Walla.

Family friendly

The home was ideal for all ages. My mom stayed in the primary bedroom on the main floor and we were able to stay downstairs with our adult children. The location is ideal if you are visiting Whitman college. It is a short, safe walk to campus. The backyard was fenced for our dogs as well.

Great spot

We loved our stay at the Schoolhouse! The house is well equipped & clean, with a cozy vibe. The location is great. It's a walkable distance to downtown, Whitman & a grocery store. It was a perfect spot for our group of friends to base out of to bike and wine-taste. We highly recommend the Schoolhouse!
