DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU ARE GERMAN WITH A GERMAN CREDIT CARD. Worst experience I have ever had on ebookers.. I booked a double room w/breakfast.... The credit card charge was not via ebookers but it was supposed to be charged by the property. They sent an auto-generated email to say they were going to charge my Visa. They then emailed me to say there was a problem charging my card. They then called me to say that they do not have breakfast available and that I should cancel the booking. I did this and rebooked without breakfast. They then sent me another set of auto-generated emails saying they will charge my card and then that there was a problem charging my card. Since I had spoken on the phone with the property that day I assumed we would work it out when I got there. Checkin was 3pm and I showed up at 3:20pm. There was nobody there and the doors were locked. There was a note on the door to call the main phone #. I called 6 times over 30 minute and there was no answer. Since my number is not German, I wondered if they were ignoring a foreign # so I asked a German friend with a German mobile to call them... She did call and a woman answered who was rude and said that 'I was at the hotel all morning and now I have left and it's a 45 min drive for me and I can't come back'. Unbelievable lack of customer service that left me stranded and forced me to book another hotel in Bad Sachsa. This property should not be on Ebookers.
