Ecrivez votre histoire Ă  Once Upon a Maride. SituĂ©e entre Yachats et Waldport et rĂ©novĂ©e en 2018, cette maison est situĂ©e sur l’une des plages les plus prisĂ©es de la cĂŽte centrale. Once Upon a Tide est Ă  l'abri des foules estivales de la ville, mais se trouve Ă  quelques minutes en voiture de tous les sites et activitĂ©s magnifiques de la rĂ©gion.

Des teintes douces et une disposition réfléchie vous assurent un séjour de détente à la plage. Cette douce maison peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes dans 2 chambres / 1 salle de bain et une taniÚre. La cour est grande avec un accÚs direct à la plage sur la plage et un magnifique bain à remous à admirer sous les étoiles.

6 couchages: 2 rois, (un peut ĂȘtre divisĂ© en deux jumeaux avec prĂ©avis), 1 grand canapĂ©-lit. 1 bain.

Just what we needed

Location is great. Between Yachats and Waldport. On the beach as described. Back yard great for a dog. Two king beds or splits/twin.

Great Stay

We had a great time at Once Upon a Tide. Was the perfect getaway for our family. The access down to the beach looks more dicey than it actually is. While the lower rail could use fixing as the post was broken at some point, We navigated it easily with a 13 month old in our arms, but there is a public stairway just 1 house away. Hot tub was great. I would consider opening it up to burn off a little of the chlorine in the daylight before getting in, but it was a great spot to relax after longer days out and about. All in all, it was a great stay and I would recommend.

Cute cottage on a beautiful stretch of beach

Cute home, well stocked kitchen, and happy coastal-themed decor! Hot tub with a view of the ocean, large tables for family game night, and large yard for the pups to romp around. Private access to a gorgeous stretch of beach. We will definitely be back!

Really nice getaway

It’s a nice little house with an excellent location. Comfortably furnished and bright, the house has super convenient access to the beach, which is flat and excellent for people and dogs. The location was in a quiet neighborhood but convenient to several coastal towns and restaurants. Will stay again.

Family Vacation

Although the house was setup a little different than what I would imagine from the pictures, (video tour of the house would be awesome), it wouldn't have kept me from staying there, just wasn't what I expected when I walked in the door, little smaller than I expected. Overall, a great place to stay. The steps down to the beach and the handrail are a bit sketchy. Would not recommend children under 10ish or elderly adults to try to go down to the beach that way (not sure if there is another way down or not).

Sweetest home on the Oregon Coast

We loved the house and the location. The house is very well cared for and very clean and well-stocked. It was perfect for our family. My only concern is the late check in time - wish we could have more time in the house that first day.

Excellent Quiet Beach House and Great Service

We come to the Yachats/Waldport area at least once a year for the lack of crowds and the quiet. This ocean front beach house exceeded our expectations. It was very quiet and private. The interior was very clean and well stocked. There were numerous extra touches, from good books, games and puzzles to nice extra blankets and linens. The kitchen was very well stocked. Nice hot tub too, setback from the wind but still a beautiful ocean view. The house felt small when we arrived, but we were very comfortable and had plenty of individual privacy. Sweet Homes manages the property. We were 3 people over 70, one of which had just had emergency surgery, and were concerned about unloading our luggage. We called ahead and they had a staff member waiting to unload us AND reloaded us when we left. There were no chairs outside and they immediately brought us chairs. Above and beyond service! Great folks! The beach access was too intimidating for 2 of us, but 2 houses down there is direct easy public stairs down to the beach. Takes one minute! We will return to Once Upon a Tide again!

Very nice updated beach cottage. Well equipped. Great ocean views! The access to beach could be worked on but there is a nice access a block from house. Some chairs on the back patio would have been nice but other than that it was perfect for our little thanksgiving gathering.

Great location! House needs some TLC for the cost.

Pros: The location and privacy of this adorable beach house is unbeatable! There were plenty of beds and seating for myself, my 3 kids and my mom. The hot tub was a huge plus and the privacy was a welcome bonus. The tablet for check in was easy and a great reference for ?s. Cons: the owners/managers need to stay there as guests to catch the things that need work! Exterior- There are huge weeds along the house, mounds of dirt all over both front and side yard, including the walkway to the hot tub (termites or ants or gophers?) Huge outdoor covered patio, but void of furniture to enjoy it, save 1 plastic adirondak chair. Inside-2 of the 4 blue chairs at 1 table were dangerously loose-huge liability. We did not use that table at all. In addition, the handle on the stove is also about ready to come off, needs tightening or replacement. The hand soap in the bathroom and kitchen were obviously severely watered down. Barely made suds. There were only 5 forks total so we had to wash at every meal, the cutting knives were dull and the can opener and potato peeler were so dull, they didn't even work. Screen door needs silicone spray to grease the track. Took both hands and significant effort to open. Screen door on the slider? Our time at the beach was great but it seems for the premium price we paid, some of that $$ should be put back into the home to show some pride and effort for future guest enjoyment. Would stay here again, with some improvements.

Family trip

It was super fun and such a great space! Perfect for the 4 of us. Kids had a blast on the beach and playing all the board games. House was clean and had all the things we needed! Would definitely rent again. The kitchen could use a couple baking sheets and a sharper knife but otherwise it was well stocked!

Amazing and private location on Oregon Coast

Charming home located on a private and secluded stretch of beach. House has direct beach access though the steps down are a bit difficult (just a stack of rocks). The house has 2 spacious bedrooms, washer and dryer, a separate den/sofa bed with table and chairs (in addition to the eating area in the main living room). The backyard and covered porch are lovely, but only 1 chair was provided-suggest bringing your own. The hot tub was clean and had a lovely ocean view. Would recommend!

Great stay

This location cannot be beat! The beach is essentially in your backyard. We spent a lot of time in the “backyard.” One of our dogs spent a lot of time roaming solo without regard to the rest of our wishes, so you may want to pay attention to naughty dogs who prefer to explore the beach without regard to rules. I highly recommend this charming rental!

A Dream Spot for Families

Awesome little beach house

My husband and I (plus fur baby) stayed at Once Upon a Tide for a week to celebrate an anniversary and it was just what the doctor ordered. So quiet and peaceful. The house is a cute little two bedroom that was perfect for us and our dog. It was so lovely to sit on the lawn with our coffees and watch the waves roll in. It's right on the beach with a little rock climb down to the sand. I will say if you have bad balance or have some type of physical encumbrance you may find the path down to the beach difficult. It's a railing with large rocks you have to climb down. It wasn't an issue for us but just good to know. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
