This holiday cabin is newly built, with a strong focus on sustainability. Kaitipu is solar powered, uses rainwater with a microfilter, as well as employing other sustainable sources of energy and materials to minimise your carbon footprint, all while you enjoy your blissful getaway.

Besides the exciting sustainable aspect of this cabin, you’re guaranteed to fall in love with the surrounding landscape right upon arrival. Located in the Papamoa Hills, your elevated position gives you a gorgeous outlook to the surrounding area, to be enjoyed from the comfort of your deck or garden.

Maximising on the limited space effectively and designed with every detail in mind , a queen-sized bed, dining area and kitchenette all complete the set up for a fuss-free stay. You can also enjoy a fresh Nespresso coffee alfresco, while listening to the chorus of morning birdsong and enjoy the stunning views.

Kaitipu is located only a 24-minute drive from Mount Maunganui, head into town for the day to enjoy the best of the local shopping and fare or a 15-minute drive from stunning Papamoa beach.

You’re also only a 6-minute drive from picturesque Kaiate Falls, if you’re keen on chasing waterfalls. Or, if you’re keen to get stuck into some biking in your downtime, Summerhill Mountain Bike Park is only a 16-minute drive from this Papamoa Hills accommodation.

Please note that due to the property having unfenced access to a pond, and there is no barrier on the deck to prevent falls, it is not suitable for children to stay here.

Please be aware this property does not have a full kitchen. A kitchenette with fridge, stove, kettle and Nespresso Coffee Machine is available for use during your stay. Please also note that this property is solar powered and all appliances (other than mobile phone/laptop chargers) that guests bring must be checked and verified as available to be plugged in, i.e hair dryers or straighteners, with Bachcare prior to your stay commencing.

While this property has electric bikes and helmets available for hire, we would recommend bringing your own well-fitting helmets to ensure safety. The hire of the electric bikes and helmets are payable on site during your stay. Information on how to book the bikes will be available at the property. Please note, the bikes are offered independently of Bachcare.

Breakfast may be able to be ordered during your stay at this property. Please enquire with Bachcare at least four working days before your booking is due to commence for more information.
