Your summer vacation by the coast will feel complete with the BBQ and outdoor shower, as well as loads of water toys to use down at the beach, including boogie boards for the kids and a couple of kayaks! The kids will also absolutely love the sandpit at Tranquilo!

This holiday home is also ideal come winter, with a wood-burning fireplace on hand for warmth in the living area. Imagine enjoying some downtime at the end of the day, or a good meal whipped up in the fully equipped kitchen, with the fire roaring in the background.

Just 600m from your home away from home you'll find the sandy shores of Waikawa Beach for a little bit of fun in the sun, and if you're after your flat white fix, just an eight-minute drive down the road will have you in the small township of Manakau where you'll find a couple of cafes. Or it's only a 14-minute drive south to Otaki for eateries, a supermarket, outlet shopping, and the beautiful Otaki Beach.

There are life-jackets available to use with the kayaks but we do recommend that guests bring their own well-fitting life-jackets to ensure safety.
