Welcome to The Cactus Casa Uno!

Located across the street from picturesque Lake Waco and just a 15-minute drive to downtown, Magnolia Market, and McLane Stadium, our 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is the perfect retreat. Our home also features a bonus room equipped with a standing desk and formal dining table, ideal for remote work or family meals.

Comfort and Convenience:

- Bedrooms: Two queen beds, one full bed, and one twin rollaway bed comfortably sleep up to 7 adults.
- Family-Friendly: A pack-n-play and high chair are available upon request.
- Spacious Backyard: Enjoy a large backyard perfect for outdoor activities and pets. In July 2024, a new flagstone patio and propane firepit with a seating area were installed. (Pictures coming soon!)
- Updated Interior: Our fully renovated home features modern amenities while maintaining a charming Texas-themed design.

A very comfortable stay. The home is very clean, rooms are spacious, comfy beds, large kitchen. Large backyard too. Neighborhood is not very walkable, must cross a busy street to get to the lake and side street is busy too, but we were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

State Tennis Tournament

We stayed in Waco for a TAPPS state tennis tournament. We were able to bring our two dogs and family. We ate multiple meals at the house, enjoyed relaxation time when not at the courts and accommodations were great!

The property manager was very accessible by text. We were able to access the home early and we found a very welcoming home including Christmas trees lighted. I might suggest that the host have some extra garbage bags on hand as well as some travel size laundry detergent

Perfect spot for family gathering.

State Tennis tournament

Needed a place to stay for a tournament. Less than 5 mins from the tournament location, easy access to groceries, clean accommodations and able to bring our pups! Nice to cook at the house and save time/money on eating out.

Eclectic charm in a cozy nook

Well we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at the cactus casa. Beautiful location with decorative landscape and views. Lindsey is a great resource. She answered any and all of our questions in a timely manner. And made sure that our needs were met. I highly suggest to stay here.

Wonderful property in Waco

This property was perfect for our needs. We were in Waco for the Half Ironman Triathlon. We had two couples staying here. Great location. Roughly 2 blocks from entrance to the walking/biking trail over the dam at Lake Waco. We will use this property again.

Baylor Family Weekend Visit

Perfect stay for a family of 5 with a dog & cat! House was exactly as pictured and extremely clean, you would never know pets are allowed in the house. Beds were comfortable which included a comfy roll-a-way bed as well. Although we did not utilize, the kitchen was nice and seemed well stocked. Big yard, perfect for dog to run around in. Something that came in helpful was the basket of medicines/first aid that I found by accident in the bathroom cabinets but low & behold we had a unexpected need for antibacterial ointment and it was in the basket! Easy, 15'ish minute drive to Baylor University area.

Loved this home

We absolutely loved this home and the cute street it is on. We moved our daughter into Baylor for her freshman year and this home made the transition easier with being able to relax and visit with comfort and get all of her supplies together. The air conditioning worked amazingly, the beds were all very comfortable and the home was clean. Very impressed.

Great stay

The house appears just as it’s listed. The area is nice and truly 15min from downtown or anything Baylor related. We stayed 5 days and ran out of toilet paper which the homeowner says that “they don’t supply for the whole stay”, which is my only negative.

Clean home with a great yard.

Everything was as advertised. The house was clean and all amenities were present. During the stay we had a few questions and they were answered quickly. We enjoyed the total eclipse and then had a barbeque out back. Lots of fun and would stay again. Quiet neighborhood-plenty of parking and across the street is Lake Waco with a wonderful walking trail.

We enjoyed our stay at the Cactus Casa....check in was very easy and host was great to communicate with. It was our first trip with the pups and the location couldnt have been more accomidating! My kids loved the added snacks (especially the candy...haha). We had everything we possibly needed. Highly recommend!
