Charming thatched holiday home built with classic red bricks, offering plenty of natural light and a spacious loft.



If peace, quiet and nature appeal to you, this house is an excellent choice. From the cosy cottage in the second row by the water, it’s only a few hundred metres to the shore, with a stunning view of Avnø Fjord.



The house features a large, bright living room with wide windows and double doors opening to the green garden. Enjoy the crackling wood stove from the sofa while admiring the view. The rustic dining table seats everyone comfortably. Living and dining areas have open ceilings, creating an airy and spacious feel. The small country kitchen includes all essentials and an air fryer.



There is one bedroom with a double bed, a smaller room with a single bed, and two beds on the high loft, open to the living area. Access to the loft is via a sturdy fixed ladder.



The bathroom also has a washing machine for easy laundry.



Two wooden terraces in different orientations provide sunny and quiet spots throughout the day. A covered terrace allows you to enjoy nature even in less ideal weather.



The garden and surroundings are home to wildlife such as deer, hares, squirrels and many birds. The night sky is famously clear, perfect for stargazing.



Walks along the beach, just minutes from the house, are wonderful year-round. The fjord’s calm, shallow waters with sandy bottom are great for kayaking, canoeing, SUP and for children to play.



Avnø Nature Centre, only 3 km away, features an exhibition centre and a viewing tower with telescopes to spot seals.



Knudshoved Odde offers excellent hiking and rich wildlife.



Vordingborg, about 7 km away, has the Gåsetårn, a small botanical garden, shops, restaurants and cafés.



Nearby Karrebæksminde has a beautiful sandy beach with lifeguards, mini golf and vibrant beach life. Golf courses can be found in Mogenstrup and Næstved.



Further afield you can visit the Forest Tower, Dodekalitten, Møns Klint, Knuthenborg Safari Park, Gavnø Castle and more.
