Located, close to Volterra in the Pisa area of Tuscany, Villa Trota is a unique property with a private swimming pool and panoramic view of the countryside. Originally a small rural building made of stone, the villa has been modernized with the clever use of design to blend into the landscape on which it stands. The town of Volterra is a short driving distance away, where you can find shops and restaurants, and for day trips, many of Tuscany’s famous cities are reachable by car – including San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Florence and more.

The villa (250 sqm2) consists of 3 units and develops over two levels.

On the ground floor, the open plan living area forms the heart of the building with a sitting area (with large L-shaped sofa) and a well-equipped kitchen (with a breakfast bar). Next to the living area you will find a dining area (with table seating six) which overlooks the pool and garden. In the sleeping area on this level, there are two double bedrooms (with double beds and access to the garden) with ensuite bathrooms (with shower).

On the first floor, you will find a bedroom suite (with double bed) with ensuite bathroom (with shower).

Outside you will find a large garden (8,000 sqm2) full of ornamental flowers with a swimming pool (7 m x 14 m; depth 1.1m - 1.7m; heated at extra cost; open 1 April - 15 November) and a jacuzzi hot tub. In the outside living area, you will find a stone sun terrace surrounding the pool (with sun loungers and umbrellas), a relaxation area (with comfortable outdoor seating), an outdoor dining area (with table seating six) and a barbecue.
