Notre cottage intime comprend un lit queen-size, une kitchenette, garnie de fruits frais de l'ßle, de pain à la banane, de yaourt et de cafés et thés gastronomiques. L'espace
Le Volcano Artist Cottage est une maison de vacances rĂ©cemment construite avec une chambre Ă  coucher, construite en sĂ©quoias de sĂ©quoias et situĂ©e dans un jardin luxuriant de 3 hectares situĂ© dans le village volcanique adjacent au parc national des Volcans d'HawaĂŻ. Nous avons des sentiers de la forĂȘt hawaĂŻenne pour votre exploration.

Notre chalet dispose d'une kitchenette entiÚrement équipée, d'une salle de bains zen, de puits de lumiÚre joliment éclairés, d'un radiateur pour les nuits fraßches sur le volcan et d'un bain à remous privé pour nos invités.

Les installations comprennent: bain Ă  remous privĂ©, wifi gratuit, tĂ©lĂ©vision par cĂąble, DVD, bibliothĂšque, articles de toilette gratuits, peignoirs et pantoufles. Nous proposons les produits suivants pour le petit-dĂ©jeuner: fruits de l’üle, cĂ©rĂ©ales, pain aux bananes maison, cafĂ© Kona, sodas, lait et thĂ©s fins.

Tous les clients du chalet recevront un rabais de 10% Ă  la galerie d’art Volcano Garden Arts et au cafĂ© Ono, laurĂ©at du certificat d’excellence Tripadvisor 2018.

The property was clean and well-stocked with coffee, tea, and breakfast goodies. The beautiful spa bath is a surprising contrast to the rustic style of the rest of the cottage. There were several welcoming touches, including beautiful tropical flowers. The cottage is small, and though it would probably be fine for one person or a couple who travels light, we found it a bit small for two older people. We had to put our big suitcases back in the car, taking out the things we needed first. Also, the bed is against the wall, and the person on the inside couldn’t get out of bed without disturbing the other person. On the whole, the location and thoughtful touches make this a nice property, but it may be better suited to a single guest or a couple who travels with small bags and that doesn’t have to get up multiple times in the night.

Not as described

The studio part of this place was not as described mit was smaller than my bathroom at home so not even 200 sqft. We walked in saw the place and quickly realized it wasn’t going to work . Message the host never heard back . The bed can only be accessed on one side so one of us would be climbing over the other one to get in or out of bed ,I’ m in my fifty’s and that is not something I want to have to do . The bathroom was big as described but is wasted space . Only 2 wooden kitchen chairs and one cushion chair to set on . Left over food in mini fridge, no room for closet in mini closet . Overall I wish they would have taken a picture of the bed area and that would have save me a lot time and money . So we never brought in our things w lock the place up , texted the host/or owner that we couldn’t use rental and left drove 1 1/2 hrs back to Kona to find a place to stay last minute . This is the first time in my life I had to leave a rental like this .

Paradise! With bunnies and a gift shop.

As advertised and more! It was a shame we didn't have time to thoroughly explore their beautiful grounds and giftshop. I told my wife about the highly rated vegetation cafe and she said, "well I'm not a vegetarian.". Then she tried the tiny fresh baked loaf of sweet bread they kindly left in the fridge(perfect after volcano viewing snack), Then when I asked "How about now?". She replied "I think I might be a vegetarian!". Delicious! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Outstanding Rainforest Cottage

This cottage is like a dream come true! It’s so lush and beautiful! It’s well equipped with more than just the necessities. We didn’t have a chance to visit the cafe, but the host provided sweet bread, yogurt, coffee, and milk/juice in the fridge. The heater was necessary since we visited during the rainy season. The host took great care to reduce humidity and the impact of being in a rainforest as much as possible. The shower is to die for!

It’s a beautiful place to stay in rustic Volcano.my husband and I slept well loved the grounds and the host. The cottage is small meant for outside enjoyment but you’ll love it. Cabin in paradise.

Romantic get-away

This is a small beautiful cottage on a beautiful piece of property with many gardens with a Japanese theme. The windows are so clean you would think there is no glass. Very close to Volcanoe National Park which was a primary reason we booked. Old Volcanoe road is an artist community with many galleries showcasing local artist such as Ira ono.

Nice cottage in Volcano

Quiet, private cottage for 2. Very close to Volcano Natl park. Also convenient to Hilo airport. Lots of little touches, fruit, yogurt, fresh bread and milk in fridge. Books and dvds for rainy days. Not fancy, but clean and well appointed, at a reasonable price. Would stay again.

I wish other reviews for this property would have communicated how TINY this place is - because I would have never booked it if I knew how small it was. My husband & I stayed here and we each had 1 standard/large piece of luggage & we each had 1 carry on size luggage. There is literally NO room for luggage in this cottage. The pics of this place showed a nice bathroom and that is what sold me on this place - but the bathroom is the biggest square footage of the whole place. They jammed a queen size bed into a tight space - the bed is surrounded by 3 walls - only 1 side of the bed isn’t enclosed by a wall. So that means to get into the far side of the bed you have to crawl to the other side & to get out of bed you have to crawl on top of the other person to get out - because there is no room to walk around the bed. There is literally NO space to open a piece of luggage unless you use the bed, close it back up, and stand it vertical to store it in the small kitchen area. There is no bedroom - this is just a large bathroom & small kitchen. Our 4 pieces of luggage had to stand up in the kitchen - taking up ALL the space in the kitchen. The cottage is old, windows don’t close all the way, and the shower, although nice - is freezing cold bc it’s an open shower and there is no heat in this place besides a small space heater in the kitchen. Be prepared to carry your luggage 100ft to this place bc it’s a gravel path to enter & you can’t roll your luggage.

Amazingly clean and thoughtful. Perfect location for the Park. I want this in our own woods!

Way too many VRBOs are managed by a company. This one is taken care of by its owner, and it shows. What a difference! The cottage is small, but is well thought out. Everything is thoughtfully placed. Ira included a great number of groceries, which added value and gave us more time to enjoy our vacation. Did I mention clean? Most rentals give me a stuffy nose from hidden dirt; with this one I could breathe clearly through the night. The bed was more comfortable than most. The only bad part was our decision to stay for just three nights. We would have loved to stay longer, and will keep this one on the list of places to return. Thank you!

The attention to detail was unexpected and very thoughtful. Following our evening arrival, we were grateful to find everything we could want to get our vacation started here in this cozy, and well cared for cottage. Fresh bread, fruit, and other simple yet delightful items were provided that made our stay easy. The property is lovely, with plenty of unique, beautiful and creative garden spaces to saunter, relax and enjoy the natural environment in a private setting. The cafe and art gallery/shop are wonderful! So many artists represented and great stories regarding their craft. Ira is a warm and gracious host. We would love to stay here again.

Adorable cabin in great location

Ira has cultivated an incredible gallery and café. The cabin itself is quite intimate but has everything you might need. The garden is absolutely stunning and you can't beat the proximity to Volcano National Park.

The gardens are so peaceful! The pics of the cottage don’t show how small it is but the gardens are so worth it. It should be noted that you can’t walk around to the far side of the bed. The bathroom is lovely and the cafe on site was great! There was lots to do in the area and there is a coin washer/dryer a couple blocks away if you need it. Great stay!
