RENTAL RULES

1. Smoking is NOT allowed. Fines beginning at $500 may be applied for smoking of any kind in or near the property.

2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to.

3. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00p.m. – 8:00a.m.

4. All houses are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

5. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Guests agree to take responsibility for the home, report damages and cover expenses via personal payment or pre-purchased travel insurance.

6. Only use appliances for their intended uses.

7. PETS are NOT permitted at this property.

8. Parking: Off-street parking is provided for 3 vehicles. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

9. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.

10. Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacle, located at the back of the property beside Unit #1. A service comes and removes garbage weekly.

11. Plumbing: DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $500.

Refunds: Your 50% booking fee is nonrefundable (unless you purchase optional travel insurance and your cancellation is approved).

Rooftop Deck in Virginia Beach

The property was clean and nicely decorated but we wish we had known about several things. The most important was that the property is a 4-level townhouse with NO elevator. The private garage was nice but EXTREMELY short. We had a JEEP Cheroke and only had about 2" to spare if parked all the way up to the front wall. There is no street parking available. The townhouse has approximately 70 steps. Not good for anyone with mobility issues of ANY kind. Additionally, the floor plan was small. It would have been extremely tight with more people and we only had 3. Four would have been the max on the mail level although there were beds for 3 couples. Another issue was a very loud creak in the floor in the master bedroom when walking beside the bed near the bathroom. It woke up my friend every time! It was on a main road and the Navy pilot training planes were so loud that if you were on the deck you had to wait for them to pass before talking. They fly all day! On a positive note, any questions were answered within minutes.

Everything was in great shape, and in a wonderful location. The owner was very easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure that everything was to our liking. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location

Just a short walk to the boardwalk and the beach. You cannot beat this location! So many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The garage is very small. I recommend contacting the owner prior to your arrival date for availability of parking. The garage is smaller than a standard garage (only 16.5 feet in depth) and would not fit our large SUV. The owner ended up refunding us the money we paid to park in the garage 1 block away. There are many stairs so not a good place if family members have limited mobility. We had some issues with contacting the owner during our stay but he ended up correcting all issues that arose.

Great views and super close to the beach

This property was nice, but very minimalist. No extra towels or blankets. It was very bright and open - with beautiful views all about. The kitchen appliances appear to be pretty new & high-end, but there was hardly any cookware and what was there was pretty worn out - so if you're looking to cook meals there be prepared to get creative! The rooftop view was awesome and perfect for watching the air force training exercises as well as the sunset. The cornhole bags were moldy and the patio isn't really big enough to play, so that was a bit disappointing.

Clean home in a great location

The home was clean and had a nice modern design. All the bath and bed linens were higher end, clean and comfortable. The parking in the garage could be challenging at times. We have a large SUV and we were not able to walk up the garage stairs when the car was pulled all of the way in the garage. If you have a long truck or SUV, I recommend contacting the owner in advance to ensure that the garage is long enough for you as there is no parking permitted in the driveway. We did not want to be towed so climbed over the front of the car to get up the stairs.
