Farmhouse Beach Home 2 Bdrm 2 blocks from beach!

Come and relax in this just renovated 2 bed 1 bath first floor of our home with two attached patios, a grill and outdoor dining. This beautiful lake front property sleeps 6 and is located in the historic Croatan neighborhood. Only a 3 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Virginia Beach. The VB Boardwalk and Oceanfront s only 1.5mi away. The owners/hosts stay upstairs.

This cute and cozy 2 bedroom first floor of our home renovated during the summer of 2020. Guests use the front door, the breakfast bar that sits 4, 46" smart TV including HULU PLUS for live TV, and fast wifi. The property also features two large decks, one covered and one uncovered with a grill and outdoor dining table seats 6.

We stay upstairs with our dog Nala. Guests use our front door and we are readily available to assist and answer any questions or concerns guests may have. The thermostat is on our upper level but we are happy to make any adjustments to ensure a comfortable stay. We welcome everyone to our home and love to meeting people from all different walks of life and parts of the world.

Croatan neighborhood is one of the most beautiful and desirable neighborhoods in Virginia Beach. The house is an approximate three minute walk from the public beach and also sits as a lake front property to Lake Christine which is great for fishing, paddle boarding, or canoeing / kayaking. The Virginia Beach ocean front which is packed with dining, shopping, and nightlife is approximately 1.5 miles away. For a day away from the beach the property is also approximately 1 mile away from the famed Virginia Beach Aquarium and Marine Science Center.

Guests will be limited to two vehicles only that can be parked in the driveway. We ask guests to park on the left side one behind the other as we do share that space. The Virginia Beach Ocean Front is very bike-able. We recommend brining bikes in the summer as parking can be difficult and it will save on parking or Uber fare.

As of 2023 we are excited for offer guests a washer and dryer available upon request in our garage. We also supply 2 beach chairs and a beach cart.

We do require a $200 damage deposit hold to the CC on file 48 hours prior to your arrival.
No additional guests on the property than the ones included on the booking.

2 cars max per booking.

As this is a residential neighborhood in addition to a popular beach rental neighborhood please allow for quiet time after 10pm

Guests must be over the age of 25 to book.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owners were quick to respond to us when we had questions. The neighborhood is gorgeous. The beach is a small walk away and the front porch has a beautiful view. The house was very clean. My kids enjoyed the beach toys and games. They were so sad when we had to leave. I hope we can come back one day.

Beach Fun

This was an awesome clean place to stay. All of the extras including beach amenities and laundry facility made this easy and fun. We sat on the front porch often which was nice for the whole family. We didn't get the opportunity to use the back patio or fire pit but it looked well kept and appealing. What a great time and place for a vacation!!!

This is a nice little cottage about a block from the beach in a great and quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect. The cottage is clean and nicely appointed. We had a great time, and we were within walking distance to our friend's house.

Peaceful Respite in Virginia Beach

Cat and Chris provided a peaceful, quiet and very clean respite for a Virginia Beach getaway. Their guidebook is very well done, detailing recommended activities, restaurants and helpful hints. High class accommodations in Virginia Beach

Chris and Cat's home is very high class in an affluent neighborhood just a few minutes from the strip. All the finishing touches in the home were top notch. The waves in the beach walking distance from the home were a too big for my kids so Chris and Cat sent us a different beach location where the waves were perfect. We are very impressed with their hospitality and highly recommend this VRBO.

Nice place in a quiet dead end with easy beach access. Place was clean and well stocked. Communication was easy with owners. They were upstairs, but didn't intrude at all- responded quickly when we reached out with any questions.

Ideal base to visit the area

We wanted to introduce our granddaughters to the beach and visit the aquarium - this was the perfect location in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. The house is comfortable, spotless and in great condition. Cat responded to our many questions quickly and was a great host. We would happily return!

Absolutely Perfect

I appreciate when people leave reviews so I want to be sure to review this property. I will start by saying that I considered not leaving a review because I want to keep this cozy beach house to myself â˜ș. This was the perfect space for our family. It was so clean and felt cozy and comfortable from the minute we arrived. Everything we needed it had plus more. The neighborhood was quiet and the walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes. As I titled my review... absolutely perfect! Thanks Cat and Chris for opening by our home up!
