Room was filthy. Bath tub was gross. Electrical outlets missing covers. Asked to be moved to another room and the second room was just as bad. Ended up having to eat the expense, front desk said regardless of the issues they donât issue refunds. Moved to the mansion house and had to pay for both places. Unacceptable.
Very old and small rooms
No front desk between 9pm and 9am
Spiders on the room
No luggage cuatody service
Extremely expensive - $500 a night and not even breakfast
Only good think is location
Not Pretty But A Comfortable Stay for a Good Price
Pros: Great location, plentiful parking, clean beds/bathrooms and kitchens, helpful staff, windows open in rooms. Shared kitchen is useful if planning to cook.
Cons: Property is older and carelessly renovated; minor repairs are needed, lacking decor, carpet is dated.
Parking was excellent.
Trying to phone "the owner" was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Bedroom had 2 twin beds, despite asking "the owner", when he finally answered the phone, to change it to a queen and possibly a twin.
The room was MUCH TOO SMALL! And did not even have a chair or couch to sit on.
The bulb at the entrance of the room was blown and never replaced.
The hot water in the bathroom sink did not even flow, so we were left with ONLY COLD water.
As we were departing we noticed other opened rooms with the type of facilities we were expecting. It's too bad that "the owner" did not act on our request.
The staff at Harbor Landing Resort was friendly and helpful. The location was amazing! It is very close to the ferry as well as bike rental, shops and restaurants.
