Good location and very clean,the hotel however does not acknowledge the Platinum VIP access perks so had many issues at check in that took 6hrs to sort out

Hotel location is great, just steps away from the beach. However, during busy season (we stayed Dec 31-Jan 5), that beach is extremely full and it’s not even the nicest one. The hotel is a 15-min drive (or 30 min metro ride) to Valparaiso historical area to the south, and 15-min drive to the Concon dunes to the north, so it’s a good station point if one wants to visit both. Several restaurants are nearby, and downtown center is some 15-20 minutes on foot. The plus points go to the staff who are very friendly and can best guide you in English. The interiors of lounge and rooms are also nice, but don’t expect standard rooms to be spacious, just compact enough but still comfortable. Breakfast is standard but good. The only thing that needs to be improved on is the soundproofing of rooms – you can hear (though not extremely loud) your neighboring room’s guests. Especially on New Year’s Eve when we stayed, the party on the terrace lasted till around 4am and our room faces the sea which is to the side of the rooftop terrace. Therefore we had slight difficulty sleeping with the party music audible through our closed room. For the price we paid (discounted at about 250 USD per night), this is comparatively decent during the holiday season and I would still recommend it.
