The house has three bedrooms with four beds and there is a double sofa bed in a family room. In the living room there is a spacious sofa with TV and fireplace for movie nights or just cozying up. One of the bedrooms also has a TV, also with both Swedish and German channels. There is a toilet with shower and also a washing machine in the house.



Large garden with large lawn where you can play and have other outdoor activities. At the front of the house there is a terrace with a table and regular chairs but also sunbeds to use when the weather permits. There is also a pavilion under a built-in roof in the garden with table and chairs. On the grounds there is an annex with a wood-burning sauna. You have to procure firewood yourself.

The nearest town is Vimmerby, 20 minutes by car from the house. Here you will find lots of activities for the whole family! If you want to go swimming, there is a lake 7 km from the house.



The theme park Astrid Lindgren's World is a must for families with children. Meet Pippi, Emil, Ronja and all the other well-known characters. Many of the places where these films were shot can still be found in the Vimmerby region to visit and see with your own eyes. Astrid Lindgren's childhood home Näs can also be visited.



Vimmerby has more than just Astrid Lindgren to offer; many different fine crafts and artisans can be found here. Many dating back more than a century. Join us and see how wax candles are made with the same equipment as 100 years ago at Käbbo wax candles, and Vimmerby Krukmakeri will also be happy to show you how they are made. And why not stop at Mariannelund's caramel factory, anno 1929, which has also not changed its manufacturing process since the first caramels were sold.



For those who prefer to get out into nature, there are many hiking and cycling trails around Vimmerby that take you through forests, past fields and lakes, the real small country landscape! You can certainly find and pick berries and mushrooms here in autumn. It is also possible to rent a canoe and paddle down the Stångån. If you prefer more speed and wind, there is Vimmerby Adventure with a high-altitude course, Björkebacken's adventure golf course with a water playground and Virum's moose park, where you can feed moose.
