Travel back in time with a stay in this historical house of character in Gozoâs charming capital Rabat. Shambala is a 900-year-old home, beautifully restored yet still brimming with traditional features â some so rare itâs a stop on several walking tours of Gozo. Youâll find Shambala peacefully situated along a network of beautiful cobbled walkways, themselves a fascinating slice of Gozitan history.
Shambala 3 is a luxury studio, perfect for 2 guests.
Your self-contained studio inside Shambala is beautifully decorated to complement the traditional archways, high ceilings and sand-stone walls. In your room youâll find a full-size double bed, a private bathroom with rain shower, a well-equipped kitchenette, high-speed Wi-Fi and a Smart TV. Shambala studio 3 is on the first floor, with easy access through keyless entry.
Beyond your room you can enjoy a shared courtyard, as well as a beautiful rooftop terrace with sweeping views across Rabat and the Citadel. Pack a picnic or make use of the communal barbecue for dinner with unbeatable views.
This is the perfect base for a stay on the magical island of Gozo. Not only are you just around the corner from the famous St Georgeâs Pjazza and Independence Square, both with a great selection of bars, restaurants, galleries and shops; but you are also a short walk away from the central bus station where you can easily connect to other attractions on the island.
You will have private access to Shambala 3, your own beautiful studio apartment complete with private bathroom and kitchen.
You will also have access to a communal seating area on the first floor, as well as a rooftop terrace with BBQ. These communal areas are shared with the five apartments within Shambala.

âą No parties or loud noises. Shambala is located in a quiet, historical area and it is important to respect our neighbours by keeping noise down, especially when entering and leaving the building and always after 11pm.
âą Our Tourism License does not permit us to allow external guests without written approval. Only residents of Shambala may use the common areas or be in the rooms.
âą The septic system is effective and works well â unless improper materials are flushed. Feminine products, nappies and wipes should be disposed of in the bin, and the only thing flushed should be toilet tissue.
âą The cleaning fee covers a general cleaning upon check-out. To avoid additional charges, please keep the studio reasonably clean and wash any dirty dishes before departure. Please dispose of garbage in the bins provided.
âą You can check in any time from 4pm to Midnight. Check-out is at 10am on day of departure.
âą We have coin units installed for air-conditioning, in order to ensure efficient and environmentally responsible consumption. Just a couple of euros is more than enough to run the air-conditioning for reasonable use, and we will load enough credit for reasonable use during your stay. We recommend switching off the air-conditioning when you are out of the room.
