Summary:
Tucked away in a quiet suburban neighborhood, this hidden gem offers the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience. Just 15 minutes from Downtown Victoria, Langford, and the airport, itâs an ideal home base for exploring all that Greater Victoria has to offer.
The suite overlooks a seasonal pool đ (open June 1 to Sept 30) and leads out to a shared, enclosed backyard â a tranquil space featuring an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, and dining area đœïž. Itâs the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy a meal, or soak up the sun.
Surrounded by parks, trails, and close to bus stops, this peaceful retreat invites you to relax and recharge while staying well-connected to the city and nature.
The Space:
A comfortable private suite located on the lower level of a family home. It features two bedrooms with double beds and a pull-out couch in the living room for extra sleeping space. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing â a welcoming space thatâs great for both adults and kids.
Guest Access:
The whole bottom floor suite is for guests. The back yard, pool and outdoor kitchen is shared with the home owners. We are often working or busy with non travel life so for most days you will have the backyard to yourself.
The Neighborhood:
Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood, this area is peaceful and family-friendly â where the most common sounds are birds chirping đŠ and children playing. Itâs the perfect setting to relax, enjoy your morning coffee, or explore the nearby parks and trails đż.
We live upstairs and are available if you need anything during your stay. The backyard and pool area are shared spaces đââïž, and we check in on them daily to ensure everything is clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. You might see us around, but we always respect your space and privacy.
Getting Around:
There is plenty of parking on the road and there are several bus stops within a few minutes walk.
Other Things to Note:
The pool is closed for the winter.
There is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. The pool is an in-ground pool over 10 feet deep at the deep end, so itâs not suitable for weak swimmers. The pool is shared, and during scheduled swim lessons, it is not available for guest use. No more than two lessons will be scheduled per day, and each will last no longer than one hour. Guests are welcome to use any of the pool toys or floaties in the backyard â no need to bring your own!
Interaction with Guests:
We live upstairs and are available anytime we are needed. We check on the pool and the back yard at least once a day so you will see us out and about.
