This was our second stay at this property in 3 years. 8 nights this time. We love its location....Close to multiple beaches, close to Venice Island and access to the Legacy Bike Trail. The neighborhood seems old and quiet. We walked around everyday and felt comfortable. There are a lot of older homes and some newer. This house is one of the older ones. The house was not "dirty" by any means, but it was not spotless. It is well used and is in need of some updates. It is pet friendly and it is obvious dogs have been in the house a lot. The pool area is nice, but the outdoor furniture is due for replacment. Overall, its fit our needs for its location and we were OK with its shortcomings. If you are going to be out enjoying Venice and surronding areas, this is a great place to call home for a week.

The place was very peaceful and in a location that was right in town next to everything to make it easier to travel around. We loved the house and the pool. The beds were super comfortable and so was the couches. I highly recommend this place to stay in Venice. Beautiful, peaceful, and located near everything you need.

Wonderful house!!! Awesome pool!!!

This house was great! It was clean and tons of linens were provided. Kitchen stocked well with everything you would need. The pool was amazing! Rooms were large and all 3 rooms had a private bathroom. Washer and dryer are a great add as well. Location was perfect to so many beaches, shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Home Base for 3 Week Stay

The property was in a great location within short drives to the area beaches. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood just a couple blocks east of Rt 41, it was very convenient to local groceries, shopping centers and other retailers. It’s just minutes over the bridge onto Venice Island. The Host, Eric, was very quick to respond to several issues that occurred during our stay. And he was able to resolve most within reasonable time frames. The indoor property itself was very clean, and the beds were quite comfortable. Just beware one bedroom was converted from a garage space and the in suite bathroom doubles as the laundry and its shower, while very well appointed, is very confining. The “heated” pool area and patio was very nice but the outdoor furniture cushions were in bad repair and there was no table or chairs for outdoor dining/gathering. We found the yard to be adequate for our small dog, and managed to “enclose” the fenced area with portable panels we bought from Amazon. Just beware that it is not fully fenced in, as the bordering property fences make up the sides and the back is actually separated only by landscaping, making it fairly easy for your pooch to wander off property if not watched closely. We also found the yard in need of some TLC, as what were once obviously nice plantings looked sorely in need, and the entire lawn obviously lacked trim and maintenance upon our arrival and none was completed during the entirety of our 3 week stay.

It had everything you needed for a relaxing beach/pool vacation. Slept wonderful was very relaxing! Beach chairs and umbrellas were awesome! So close to Venice beaches! Loved it!

Eric's place is just beautiful! The home was very clean and we loved that all bedrooms had their own bathroom. The home had plenty of seating for everyone to sit and talk. There were outdoor chairs and a beach umbrella to use at the beach which was very convenient. The home also had 2 types of coffee makers, one regular and one that uses K-cups. I appreciated that they had both. The pool was beautiful and we really enjoyed it. There was an issue with the light in the pool and Eric responded immediately and had someone there right away to take care of it. We will definitely try to get the home again the next time we visit.

Zero communication from owner/host & live roach

Absolutely no communication from owner prior to and during check in/stay. After we encounter error live roach and contacted VRBO, the HOST finally contacted me. Not the owner but host said they’d get have to me about refund and never heard from them again. Questionable neighborhood. Pool not clean. We would have been fine until live roach appeared on stove. Shady owner with no comm.

Very adequate

The interior was very nice. We liked that each of the 3 BR’s were en suite. Kitchen supplies were adequate. We found the pool chairs were poor at best. All 3 plastic Adirondack chairs had breaks in them. No lounger chairs. Also, found it interesting and dangerous that there is no handrail to get in and out of the pool. Also, since the rules state no glass at pool area ( makes sense) there should be some plastic cups available. We had to go buy some.

Nice place in Venice

The house was very nice and clean inside and the pool was really nice. We had our dog with us so it was nice to have the extra room and the yard. The neighborhood is quiet and there is a park a couple blocks away with tennis and pickleball courts which we used. It was convenient to historic downtown Venice and to all the beaches. We’ll definitely keep it on our list for a future stay.

Great Location in Quiet Neighborhood

My wife and I enjoyed our 8 nights at this house. We used one room to sleep, and the King size bed was very firm and comfortable to us. The house has a well-stocked kitchen and had everything we needed and the refrigerator was huge! The back patio was nice and furniture was comfortable. The pool was very clean and very nice and private. The house seemed to be in a quiet lowkey neighborhood. There was lots of people walking around in the mornings and evenings. There are pickleball and tennis courts at the park a block away and there was constantly a group of people there playing. The house is close to everything
. restaurants and grocery stores were minutes away, and Downtown Venice is just a quick left turn and you are there in 5 minutes! There are 4 or 5 Beaches under 15 minutes away. We were very happy with our choice to stay here.
