For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.

2 quietly elegant double bedrooms with double beds and traditional terrazzo flooring – one to the front of the property with wooden beams, copper-colour accents and a pair of windows overlooking the campo towards the campanile and pinnacles of the Frari, and the other to the rear of the apartment with golden olive accents and its own smart en suite bathroom with shower and circular stone wash-hand basin

2nd Floor, where we find...



Palazzetto San Stin’s main open-plan contemporary-style living space overlooking the campo and comprising a beamed sitting / dining area and a semi-separate u-shape kitchen. Cheerfully decked out to delight in toasty burnt oranges and cool graphite greys and benefitting from 4 windows (2 at either end) drawing light into the room, the space is furnished with a pair of stylish sofas, tub chairs and a dining suite hosting 6 guests, while the modern, compact yet well-equipped kitchen to the side has a breakfast bar seating 2 for a quick bite ‘on the hoof’ while taking in the view!

OUR COMMENT



A fabulous find on a charming campo in an authentic locale! – bright, cheerful and spacious – and pivotal to all the sights of the San Polo, Santa Croce and Dorsoduro sestieres, with easy access to the ‘traghetto’ at San Tomà, which ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to Garzoni / San Samuele in the district of San Marco.



Within a gentle stroll of a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars including (but not only!) Frary’s (for candlelit Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine), Il Mercante (for cocktails), Birreria La Corte and Muro Frari (with menus to suit most tastes), the long-standing Da Ignazio with its courtyard garden (for fish and seafood), for fine dining... Wisteria (awarded one Michelin star), Do Forni and Estro... and last, but not least, not forgetting Pizza 2000 near Campo Sant’ Agostin for excellent made-to-order takeaway pizza!



Very close to the Palazzetto Bru Zane ‘Centre de Musique Romantique Française’, the wide and open Campo San Polo, the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista and (for the young at heart!) the Creature di Gomma Venice Vintage Toy Museum for transporting you back to your childhood!



Within easy reach of the vaporetto (water bus) stops at San Tomà and San Silvestro for convenient travel about the city, and close to a several well-stocked supermarkets for all your self-catering needs – a Conad near the Frari and another on the Rio Marin Canal, a COOP at Campo San Giacomo Dell’Orio, and a Crai at Campo San Tomà.



Also within a reasonably short walk of Piazzale Roma (Venice’s coach and car / taxi disembarkation point) and Venice’s Santa Lucia Station on the Grand Canal (only if feeling energetic and travelling light!)



Beds will be arranged as either doubles or twins as shown in the photos. The possibility of turning a double bed into twins or vice versa can be found in the description and must be requested at least 7 days before arrival.
