Il Volo del Nibbio is a cozy holiday home and it’s located in a strategic position between Lucca, Pisa and the coast. It is the perfect base to visit art cities and natural attractions in Tuscany.
The house is equipped with a 300 sqm garden and an oval above-ground swimming pool (4,90 m x 3,60 m, 1,20m depth) to guests’ exclusive use. The property is completely fenced off by net (in some spots by net and wall, height 1.30m). ONLY ONE PET ALLOWED - SMALL OR MEDIUM SIZE. LARGE DOGS ARE NOT ADMITTED.

Things to do and one-day trips:

Il Volo del Nibbio is the perfect base to visit the Natural Park of Migliarino – San Rossore, the lake of Massaciuccoli and to go to the seaside to Marina di Vecchiano (c.ca 15 km away), a natural oasis of savage beauty, with a dense pine tree forest, dunes and Mediterranean scrub.
In spring and autumn, the eco-tourism of the park offers Nordic walking tracks, bike tours or birdwatching walks from the mouth of the Serchio to the lake of Massaciuccoli.
Places of art such as Pietrasanta, Lucca (about 16 km away), Pisa (about 8 km) and Florence can be easily reached by car and visited in a one-day trip.
Several paths lead from the house to suggestive walks towards the ancient hermitage that is part of the castle of Vecchiano (of which only part of the walls remain), the remains of the fortress of Avane, or the village of Filettole with its characteristic Torre dell’Aquila.
In the surroundings, parish churches, castle ruins, towers, historical villas as well as the many nature destinations will make your holiday rich in discoveries.
Music lovers will be able to attend the famous Puccini festival held every year in July and August.
The house is located on the edge of the village of Vecchiano and guests will be able to reach shops, grocery shops and restaurants on foot.

The house has an independent entrance (it is attached to another house on the back) and is composed of: on the ground floor, living room/dining room with 1 sofa-bed (1,40m), TV, dining table, kitchen corner with induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, toaster and filter coffee brewer, 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet, 1 double bedroom.
From the living room, exit to the 300 sqm garden equipped with table, chairs, parasol, sun chairs, barbeque and an oval, above-ground swimming pool (4,90 m x 3,60 m, 1,20 m depth) to guests’ exclusive use.
The house is distributed only on the ground floor and is equipped with wi-fi internet, mosquito nets, air conditioning in every room.
Il Volo del Nibbio is very comfortable and has been furnished in modern style.

Parking within the property, the entrance is shared with the house located on the back yard.
