This rental is misleading, disappointing and not worth its price. It looks pristine but itâs sleazy. Firstly, when I booked the rental, the host did not provide me with the check-in instructions until I prompted him, and he failed to provide wifi instructions as well. The digital lock for the security gate was broken, so the gate was open all day throughout my stay, which made me feel so unsafe. The day I checked in, I had to wait two hours after texting and calling the host for the wifi information before he provided it. The plates and utensils provided were dirty and dusty, I had to wash them. The thermostats were clearly very old and deteriorated, so it took about two days for the place to get warm. There were holes all over the wall in the living room, and a nail jutting out of the wall at the kitchen, which is a safety hazard. The bathroom mat was dirty as well.The laundry room was disorganized and messy, and there was a periodic, loud screeching sound coming from a machine in the room each day. It disturbed me heavily throughout my stay, and when I contacted the host about it, he told me he âhad never had a complaint about it.â He refused to provide me with extra hand soap when the one he provided run out, even though there was a small amount to begin with. And he called my request for extra trashbags âan unnecessary request âeven though he provided only one trashbag. He was ungenerous, unprofessional and unreasonable.
