With a breathtaking beachfront location on the southwest coastline of Antigua, Villa Delphin offers three bedrooms and a private swimming pool for up to six guests to enjoy. Situated between two dazzling beaches and part of a boutique collection of contemporary villas and suites, guests at Villa Delphin will have access to the Tamarind Hills Resort’s exclusive facilities, including an excellent restaurant and a saltwater swimming pool.

Each morning, the warm Caribbean breeze and blue skies will draw you outside to take a dip in your own private swimming pool or a walk along the beach, only a few steps away. From the villa’s sun-soaked terrace, you can admire the sparkling views of the turquoise ocean as you sip your morning coffee. Here you will also find comfortable sun loungers, as well as a convenient barbecue grill and a covered dining area, where guests can linger over a cocktail from sunset until the stars come out.

Inside, the villa’s contemporary, laidback décor reflects the natural beauty of the surrounding island. Upon entering the ground-floor living space from the terrace through wide patio doors, guests will be greeted by a comfortable lounge area with a large corner sofa and a flatscreen smart TV. The open-plan lounge flows seamlessly into a well-equipped kitchen, providing you with everything you need to prepare memorable meals at home with the fresh local produce you have discovered. Here you will also find a fitted breakfast bar, where everyone can gather together to discuss the day’s adventures.

Upstairs, the villa’s effortless charm continues, with two bedrooms located on the first floor. Each bedroom features a king-size bed, with one bedroom providing access to a private balcony, where you can enjoy dreamlike ocean vistas over a leisurely breakfast. Both bedrooms include en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers.

Villa Delphin’s master bedroom occupies the whole of the second floor. This gorgeous room will instill a sense of peace and tranquility with its high lofted ceilings, exposed wooden beams and a feature roof light, allowing plenty of natural light to flow into the space. There is another oceanfront balcony available here, with truly breathtaking views. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an indulgent bathtub, where you can completely unwind after a day spent swimming in the sea or exploring the wonders of Antigua. An en-suite bathroom is also available on the second floor.

Air conditioning is featured throughout the villa, with ceiling fans also included in the living space and each of the bedrooms, ensuring that your nights are cool and restful. With a housekeeping service every other day and direct access from the villa to two of Antigua’s most beautiful beaches, no detail has been overlooked when it comes to making sure that your stay at Villa Delphin is a relaxing and rejuvenating island holiday experience like no other.

Antigua and Barbuda is a nation made up of two sister islands and several smaller islets, all situated in the heart of the Caribbean. The Tamarind Hills Resort’s fantastic location means you will have direct access to the silky white sands of two idyllic beaches, Ffryes and Darkwood. Surrounded by dense green hilltops, Ffryes Beach is a popular spot with tourists and locals alike. Here, you can spend the day snorkeling in the turquoise waters, before indulging in an excellent dinner at one of the restaurants on the marina at nearby Jolly Harbour.

Slightly further afield, Nelson’s Dockyard National Park is one of five national parks in Antigua. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this eighteenth-century British naval dockyard is an area of great historical significance on the island, as well as a popular venue for maritime events and activities. For those who wish to experience the magic for themselves, there are plenty of sailing excursions and water-based activities available.

There are plenty of fantastic trekking trails around the island, taking in sandy beaches, rainforests and dreamlike coastal views. For a challenging hike, put on your hiking shoes and visit Mount Obama, the highest peak in Antigua. From the summit, enjoy the panoramic views, before descending to Cades Bay for a delightfully refreshing dip in the ocean.

Don’t forget to visit Shirley Heights, a restored military lookout known for its bewitching views and community feel. With a popular street party happening every Sunday evening, visitors are welcome to enjoy the music of live Caribbean steel drum bands, taste some of the local food and rum punch and take in the breathtaking sights as the sun begins to go down on the beautiful island of Antigua
