Beautiful City and perfect location. Communication by host needs improving - I had to ring Vrbo at the airport who then contacted host as he had not responded to any messages or provided information on checking in despite it being the day of arrival. The property is described as luxury. As a host of two holiday lets ourselves I can say it wasn't. It was nice but refurbished a good while ago and finishes like around kitchen sink, tears in blinds, marked paint work and chipped floor tiles let it down. Air conditioning was great. Everything you needed to cook /eat was there. Internet was good. The view and location were good! A seafood restaurant nearby which was highly rated and very accessible to ferry, shops and bars. The one aspect that concerned us (and we are only in our early 50's) were the steps from bed area during the night. You could easily fall in dim light and were in fact quite dangerous. The sharp corners on the bed caught our shins twice causing bleeding and bruising. The initial booking ( first time using this site) I used two different e mail addresses so Vrbo told us to cancel and rebook. We did but the host added quite a bit more onto the 7night price as he knew we wanted to stay. A bit cheeky but I had set my heart on staying here so paid the extra. So in all, a good location, nice apartment and I hope the constructive criticism is noted. No photos taken of the apartment, sadly- but plenty of the beautiful City and happy memories of our visit.
