Lion Square Lodge is a riverfront property that sits right at the base of the Lionshead Gondola and Born Free Express Lift in Lionshead Village at Vail Ski Resort. On the grounds, you'll have access to a heated year-round swimming pool, slopeside hot tubs, a fitness center, a concierge and ski valet, a restaurant, and covered parking. In addition to ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes, you can stroll to restaurants, shops, apres-ski spots, and local bus transportation in the village.

Step inside to find a space full of thoughtful design, from the unique layout to the details of wood craftsmanship. Leave your gloves and boots to dry in the warmers, cozy up next to the gas fireplace, and find a favorite movie to watch (on streaming or cable) in the warm and inviting living room.

When you're not dining out, enjoy a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a gas grill outside on the patio, and a dining table made from natural wood. The sleeping arrangements are particularly noteworthy - in addition to the primary suite, there's a guest bunk room that's separated from the living room via privacy doors. Great Condo

The pictures do not do justice to this clean and well appointed condo in the heart of Lionshead. The bunkbeds for the kids are in the main room, but are able to be closed off with their own bathroom. Pool facilities are in a different building which is a short walk (under 5 min).

Exceeded our expectations for the price

This was a last minute trip. We were thrilled to get this condo at the rate we did and the location. Being on the first floor and just walking out the door was so convenient. The condo was clean, well stocked. We loved the decor. Our adult kids are both tall, the bunk beds are huge and they said the most comfortable beds they have slept on while on vacation. We never closed the doors around the bed. Having 2 bathrooms was definitely a plus. Master bathroom is smaller but not a big deal. Kitchen is narrow, but for the price point not a big deal for us to just squeeze around each other. Boot warmers were nice! You can park right outside the door in uncovered parking to unload and load. We did park and leave our suv in the parking garage so it wasn’t in the cold elements. We enjoyed our stay in this condo and definitely recommend.

Comfy stay

The condo is close to the village, which has an abundance of shopping and restaurants. The gondola is very easy to get to and worth every penny. There are plenty of activities to enjoy at the top and the ride itself is very relaxing. Overall, a very good experience.

Condo and Facility perfect for small groups

We were in town for a professional conference being held across the street from the Condo. Having the kitchen and two bed-two bath was perfect for our small group. Check in and parking and access to the hottub and gym were also great.

Lionssquare Lodge Condo in Vail

Everything on the inside of the condo was exactly as expected from the description and photos - it was great. The disappointment was with the location of the condo. If you look at all the pictures of the Lionsquare Lodge provided, it gives you the impression that it is right next to the Gondola, looks right up at the mountain, and has a great outdoor pool/jacuzzi set up right at the base of the Mountain. Instead, apparently Lionsquare North is across the street several hundred yards and is not really the set up/pictures shown on the website. It turned out to be ok, but definitely not what i believed i was paying for. Let the buyer be ware!

Excellent access to gondola and a ski valet. The condo was big for a family of four and nice kitchen to cook in the morning and evening. Quiet and the staff at the lodge were really helpful. Van to Village. Pickup and drops off. Awesome Vacation.

Close in Lionshead

Pros: Loved the short walk to the gondola, shopping and restaurants. It is fully stocked with any kitchen gadget you need. Plenty of towels and other supplies needed. Covered parking was a plus. Nice workout room. Management texted us to make sure we had all we needed. Cons: People above us were very loud. You could hear talking in the units beside and above us. We used the hot tub twice and were the only one's there (which was great), But the jets were pretty lame. Not many of them. We, overall, found this place very nice and would stay here again.

Good stay

Our family of four stayed at this location. Great experience, nice rooms & good access to ski school for our kids & the gondola. Parking of cars was right outside our room are so that was a great plus! Only downside I could think of was that the corridors are not covered & hence you walk from your room directly into a very cold area & then back into the main reception, which is heated & then back out again into a very cold area. Overall, great stay!
