This area is renowned for its breathtaking views, bustling market towns, pretty villages, and historic houses. The Peak District National Park, home to endless moorland, steep-sided, deep dales and rolling, green hills, can be reached within 10 miles of the doorstep, a paradise for walkers, climbers and cyclists alike. Sudbury Hall and the National Trust Museum of Childhood, 10 miles away, is a must-see for history lovers, whilst Carsington Water, 13 miles away, is perfect for keen outdoor explorers, brimming with opportunities for walking, cycling, bird watching, sailing and windsurfing. The charming countryside villages of Rocester and Denstone can both be reached within 2 miles.
Featuring a characterful curved ceiling, a soothing neutral colour palette, and plenty of sumptuous, homely touches, the open-plan lounge, kitchen, dining and sleeping layout of the spacious glamping pod boasts a wonderfully cosy ambience. Sit back and relax on the comfortable sofa, which can be converted into a bed to accommodate an additional two guests, and enjoy the countryside breeze flowing in through the large patio-style front door. Boasting a stunning country cottage style design, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to get creative with your local produce before enjoying your efforts seated around the dining table behind. At one end of the pod sits a cosy single bed, with the back of the pod occupied by a delightful double bed. A sophisticated shower room completes this lovingly furnished bolthole.
From sunrise to sunset, the open front patio with outdoor dining furniture and BBQ is the perfect spot to soak up some fresh air and enjoy your stunning countryside setting. The shared undercover seating area, complete with pizza oven, is ideal for entertaining. The site also features an honesty shop selling a range of local produce and homemade items, as well as providing freezer storage for guests. Private parking is available on site for two cars, a short walk from the pod.
