Thereâs no shortage of sublime views, historic market towns, quaint villages and ancient houses in this wonderfully scenic spot in rural Staffordshire, a stoneâs throw from the Derbyshire border. A playground for keen outdoor explorers, featuring countless tracks and trails that weave through wild moorland, steep-sided, deep dales and rolling green hills, the picturesque Peak District National Park is just 10 miles from the doorstep. History buffs cannot miss a visit to Sudbury Hall and the National Trust Museum of Childhood, 10 miles away, whilst thrill seekers can enjoy sailing and windsurfing at Carsington Water, 13 miles away, a great spot for birdwatchers and nature lovers.
At the end of a busy dayâs adventure, throw open the patio-style front door and lead the way into the wonderfully light and airy open-plan lounge, kitchen, dining and sleeping area that encompasses this beautiful glamping pod. Featuring a rich colour palette that perfectly complements your stunning surrounding scenery, as well as a quirky curved ceiling and a lovely wooden floor, this endlessly social space offers all your creature comforts at your fingertips, boasting everything you need to relax, cook and dine with loved ones. The country cottage-style kitchen is a haven for creative minds, whilst the plush sofa not only offers the perfect place to sit back and relax, but can be converted into an additional bed to cater for an extra two guests. Tucked away at the back of the pod, a delightful double bed awaits tired travellers, with a cosy single bed at the front of the pod just as inviting. The contemporary shower room offers everything you need to kick-start a new adventure feeling refreshed.
Outside, the open front patio, which features outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ, has plenty of room for everyone to sit back and soak up some fresh, countryside air. Budding chefs can get creative with new local flavours in the shared undercover seating area, which also boasts a pizza oven, perfect for al fresco dining. The site also features an honesty shop selling a range of local produce and homemade items, as well as providing freezer storage for guests. Private parking is available on site for two cars, a short walk from the pod.
