This cosy, snug and inviting glamping pod makes a fabulous holiday retreat for couples enjoying a romantic getaway or for smaller families discovering an idyllic corner of the Staffordshire-Derbyshire border. The pod is part of a small and exclusive group of similar hideaways located on a peaceful site between the picturesque villages of Denstone and Rocester, both within 2 miles. Heading south, the cheerful market town of Uttoxeter (6 miles) has some great places to eat and drink and is home to a golf club and a major National Hunt racecourse. The surrounding area has a wide range of attractions for all the family, with local highlights including Sudbury Hall, the JCB Visitor Centre and the famous Alton Towers theme park, all within 10 miles. Heading north, the White Peak part of the Peak District (9 miles) offers breathtaking walking, hiking and cycling routes.
A step leads up from the patio and through into the light, cheerful and airy glamping pod where you will be greeted by the stylishly arranged open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. This versatile space features a comfortable sofa and a Smart TV, perfect for an eveningâs relaxation after a great day out. To one side thereâs a charming dining table, with a useful kitchenette opposite featuring an array of useful equipment. There are two lovely beds, one at each end of the cabin: a pretty double and a cosy single. The sofa also serves as a handy extra bed. A door leads through to an invigorating shower room.
Immediately outside, thereâs a delightful patio area with outdoor furniture offering a quiet space for enjoying a BBQ after a great day out. The five glamping pods share the beautiful Georgian garden, with a sheltered seating area with a pizza oven. The site also features an honesty shop selling a range of local produce and homemade items. Private parking is available on site for two cars, a short walk from the pod.
