Upon stepping inside this welcoming cottage guests will find comfort in the double-aspect sitting room with feature log-burning stove, three comfortable bedrooms and two well-appointed bathrooms. Stepping outside and a large, mature garden with ample space for playing, relaxing and al fresco dining and with unspoilt countryside views beyond awaits.
The heart of this home-from-home is undoubtedly the bright and sunny kitchen diner with its imposing traditional AGA creating a true cottage kitchen atmosphere. With inviting views across the cottage garden and open countryside beyond this really is the perfect place in which to enjoy a morning coffee or a hearty evening meal.
With a popular Lakeland pub just a short stroll away this really is the perfect setting for a break in the glorious Lakes for families, couples and friends alike.
Ground Floor
The main entrance is situated along the side of Waingarth Cottage and the front door leads into a spacious hallway - perfect for storing coats, boots and bags. Several doors lead off from this central hallway the first of which takes you into a bright and airy sitting room. Double aspect windows include pretty views over the cottage garden an ensure the room is flooded with natural light. A feature log-burner creates a cosy centre-piece to the room and makes for the perfect place in which to relax after a day spent exploring the local area.
Back into the hallway a second door leads to the spacious kitchen and dining room. The country kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer while a handy larder ensures there's ample storage space.The centre-piece of the kitchen is the impressive, traditional Aga, ensuring the kitchen is stuffed full of country kitchen charm.
From the kitchen steps down lead you into the sunny dining area. Bathed in light from the large windows and roof lights and with gorgeous views of the gardens with open countryside beyond, this really is the perfect place to enjoy a hearty breakfast or a relaxing coffee before your day's adventures.
Back into the hallway and a final door leads to a handy bathroom with corner bath, W.C. and basin which completes the downstairs accommodation.
