Savannah Beach & Racquet Club, 1 bedroom beachfront condo 314A

The Savannah Beach & Racquet Club is a gated bay front complex located on the quiet North end of Tybee Island. The Bay is where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. There is a wonderful beach area just steps from the condo. This area of the beach is known to be very family friendly as it is less crowded. The location is great for dolphin watching, watching large ship containers travel into savannah port. If you enjoy walking along the beach, you can walk all the way to the South end of the Island, without leaving the sand. The Beach & Racquet Club is a great alternative to staying at a hotel room on the island. Enjoy more space and amenities like fully equipped kitchens, living room with cable TV, private balconies, tennis courts, and pool. All of the one-bedroom condos share use of a 14'x20' pool and 10"x10' kiddie pool. A&B building condos have coin-operate laundry on each floor. There is parking for 1 vehicle only, NO GOLF CARTS, TRAILERS, BOATS, JET SKI'S or OVERSIZE VEHICLES ALLOWED.

One bedroom, one bath bay front unit. 3rd floor unit overlooking pool and beach.

The beach view was amazing. The weather was choppy due to the Northeast dinner. But the two nights we were able to see the sunset view on beach was stunning. Saw lots of cargo boats coming in. And dolphins everyday. We were protected from a lot of the gusty wind and we're still able to sit outside all day if we wanted to on the deck. No bells & whistles but perfect for what we needed

The unit was easy to access and was clean. The bedroom window needs room darkening curtains as the hall light is too bright to allow for sleep. Also, there were no plastic cups which are required for the pool area.

Great Sunset views

Unit is bare bones, but clean and comfortable. Needs to update pillows and blankets. I used my own beach towels for a blanket. We made it work.

Best view ever!

We sat and watched the dolphins play as we relaxed on the patio! The pool is super nice and the beach was right there at us! The place was very accommodating for our needs! We love it and will definitely be back!

Property was easily accessible to beach and has a nice view of boats and wildlife from the room in the evenings. Pool was nice, but could use some updates as tiles are missing around edges. Halls to rooms are dark. Could use lighter colors instead of gray.

Loved it, the appliances are outdated , but honestly we were there for relaxation so who cares! Only downfall for us was being on the 3rd floor , the a/c units are on the roof , in the unit we were in it made for terrible sleeping, and the screen door was broken and not repaired during our stay, (broken before us and reported by us immediately on check in) then there was the morning we decided to go out for a sunrise walk, and found someone sleeping on the 3rd floor stairwell opening with all of his belongings

This place worked great for my daughter and me. The cleanliness left a little to be desired - sheets weren’t clean, small stuck-on bits of food in the kitchen sink, and someone else’s hair left in the shower when we arrived. Overall, not terrible though.

Great balcony view.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean. While you can walk to the beach you will have VERY STEEP flight stairs to get down to it. During high tide, there is NO beach! This unit has only one TV in the living area. There is NOT a TV in the bedroom. There is an elevator but it is at the other end of the building.

Savannah Beach And Racquet Club

Great location, very nice, clean, everything you needed. Enjoyed watching the Dolphins and the Shrimp Boats in the evening. Was on the 3rd floor closest to the beach. Only draw back was elevator is on other end of the building so you either had to climb the stairs or come from the other end of the building with your luggage. Other than that it is an awesome place to stay.
