Tybee Trip ReviewIt started with the lockbox. There were no instructions on how to use the lockbox and there was no code to open it. I had to email & call 4 different people before I could even get the code. Once I got it open there was no room key, only the pool key which we didnât even need because the pool was always unlocked. On to the pool, it was not heated at all and it was actually very cold. The TV in the small bedroom would NOT turn off at all. Thankfully I could change the channel. The TV was on when we got there, but we just figured they forgot to turn it off, but no such luck. I normally sleep with the TV on or I would have been very upset that I wouldnât have been able to sleep. The lock on the door is a joke! Needs a deadbolt! The little chain could not keep someone out if they wanted in. There was no silverware, plates/bowlâs or cups. Luckily my Aunt was prepared and she had all the stuff we needed, but the guest next door didnât have anything either. They had to go buy the stuff they needed. The front bathroom shower was only cold water and my Aunt just about froze trying to take a shower. The craziest thing was the ladies next door to us were having a lot of the same issues. They never did get into their lockbox. We ran into another guest and they also had some of the same problems. I understand the property is under renovationâs, but there are some things that need to be fixed before being rented out .
